Warren Gatland: Wales on mission
WARREN GATLAND insists Wales still want to bow out of the World Cup on a high this morning.
The Welsh, reduced to 14 men after their captain Sam Warburton was sent off in the first 20 minutes, would have beaten France if their goal-kicking had been more accurate to book a Sunday date against New Zealand. Instead
they face Australia today in the Bronze Final, and Gatland said: “It would be easy for us to get our heads down but we can leave here with our heads held high.”
The outstanding Toby Faletau will set a Wales record in making his seventh successive start in a World Cup.
