Andy Roddick wants a break
ANDY RODDICK has added to calls for the authorities to ease up on players’ schedules after Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer pulled out of the Shanghai Masters.
The American former world No 1 said: “I don’t think we are storming offices, but the sentiment is there.
“Obviously, if they were feeling well and they weren’t worn down, then they’d play,” said Roddick, after his 6-2, 3-6, 6-2 win over Taiwan’s Lu Yen-hsun.
