Eugenie Bouchard and Heather Watson knocked out of the doubles
BRITAIN'S Heather Watson and Canada's Eugenie Bouchard were knocked out of the Ladies' Doubles at Wimbledon.
The pair suffered a first round defeat at the hands of Australian sixth seeds Ashleigh Barty and Casey Dellacqua, 6-4, 7-6.
After a tight first set, Bouchard's serving was a little erratic while Watson was unable to show her killer instinct at the net.
The Australian pair secured the win thanks to a cute volley at the net.
Watson will now turn her attentions back to the singles where she will face the biggest challenge of her career - a meeting with ninth seed Angelique Kerber for a place in the third round.
