Google Maps Street View: Man caught in creepy illusion in IKEA
GOOGLE MAPS Street View was created to open up the world by mapping roads and streets to the internet. Sometimes, rather creepy images are also spotted on the website which creates some baffling sights.
Google Maps Street View was launched in 2007 to help people navigate roads and streets across the globe.
This has opened up the world to online users wanting to locate an address or find directions.
It can also create some very weird sights by accident thanks to a glitch in the equipment.
A man was caught in a baffling scene while shopping in IKEA.
Yet by catching the camera at the right time, the man appeared 15 times in total in the same image
Spotted in a branch in Montreal was a young man wearing a grey hooded jumper and dark trousers.
He was stood in the kitchen section, with a microwave and bar stools in sight.
Yet by catching the camera at the right time, the man appeared 15 times in total in the same image.
In some of the poses, he was crouched on his knees while in others he was standing stock still.
The same expression with a blank look remained the same in all 15 pose
The photography glitch is easy to do when attempting to trick the camera.
Google uses 360-degree camera equipment to create the seamless effect on the roads.
While doing this, the camera can sometimes encounter a problem when capturing moving images.
Cars and people can easily be duplicated or stretched due to this and look rather abnormal.
A young woman in Amsterdam suffered from this error when spotted at work.
The young woman was sitting at the Google offices when the incident occurred.
At first glance, she was simply chatting with her colleague on a rooftop of the building.
Yet on closer inspection, the woman was missing her head and her hand thanks to the splicing error.
Instead, she had just an arm and the top of her head thanks to the mistake.
The man’s arm had also been duplicated and appeared detached from his body.
