The free easyJet hand luggage item that passengers 'can't believe' beats bag fees
easyJet is known for its low-cost deals and cheap package holidays, however, customers do have to abide by the correct luggage allowance that matches their fare. For passengers jetting off on a standard ticket, this means fitting everything they need into one carry-on bag.
However, one passenger claims to have found the perfect bag for travelling on a long weekend or short mini-break with easyJet. It fits so many items, that she said it "felt illegal" taking the bag onboard - but luckily it wasn't breaking any rules.
Sharing a video to her TikTok page @petite.blondine, creator Emma revealed that she was able to pack enough clothes, toiletries and accessories for a three-day holiday to France with plenty of room left over for souvenirs. The key is her bag of choice, the Aerolite Under-seat Cabin Bag which is available to purchase on Amazon at the time of writing for £39.99.
As it measures 45 x 35 x 20cm, it fits easyJet's luggage requirements - though travellers on a standard ticket will only be able to take one piece of luggage onboard. You can read all about easyJet's luggage rules here.
In a comment, Emma explained: "[I] didn't buy any additional luggage, this was the free under-seat option."
The hard shell is so popular that it has also been rated as one of Amazon's choices for luggage, and has received 4.6 out of a possible five stars by customers leaving reviews.
In her video, Emma listed everything she managed to fit into the bag for her three-day trip.

The Aerolite under-seat cabin bag does have handles and wheels, for easy transportation, but these do not exceed the specific dimensions set out by easyJet. However, Aerolite does sell bags in lots of different sizes, so do make sure the one you are purchasing meets your airline's requirements.
According to Aerolite: "We specifically designed our stylish hard-shell cabin luggage suitcase to measure exactly 45 x 36 x 20cm, the maximum allowed size you can take for free in the cabin when flying with easyJet.
"It is also accepted on several other major airlines worldwide."
