A gorgeous holiday destination in Switzerland has an incredible free public transport for tourists.
Geneva gives tourists free use of its extensive public transport network, which includes buses, trains and even boats.
Anyone that stays in approved accommodation in the city is entitled to the city’s Transport Card for free travel.
Tourists can access the card by contacting their accommodation and they should then receive a form three days before their arrival in Geneva.
After filling in the form, they should receive their free digital version of the Geneva Transport Card almost immediately.
Accommodation must be registered with Geneva Tourism & Congress for tourists to qualify for the free scheme.
The free transport scheme is open to everyone in the travelling group and the lead tourist will receive a form for the others to use.
Perhaps the prettiest way to get around the city, Geneva’s public transport boats are included in the scheme.
