The Queen Anne is expected to arrive in the Balearic Islands on June 17th, as it undertakes its maiden voyage.

The Balearics have recently seen huge protests against mass tourism, which has resulted in local officials pondering placing a ban on giant cruise ships.

The luxury liner can carry up to 3,000 guests and has a crew of 1,225 people.

It features some innovative new designs that will excite and delight all those sailing on board.

The ship's accommodation provides guests with some of the finest spaces at sea, including Cunard’s renowned Grills Suites.

Passengers will be able to experience true luxury in one of the Britannia Club staterooms, with their king-sized beds and spacious balconies.

Due to high demand, the number of Britannia Club staterooms on Queen Anne has increased by more than 200 percent versus other ships in the fleet.

These luxurious and magnificent living quarters have been designed by the renowned Paris-based Sybille de Margerie.

Her impressive portfolio includes the Mandarian Paris and Atlantis, as well as The Royal Residences in Dubai.

But perhaps the most jaw-dropping feature of the ship is its spectacular Grand Lobby spanning three decks.

The design provides a show-stopping entrance, full of energy and light, creating a dazzling effect.

Marking the transition from past to present, the area houses a contemporary sculpted mural that changes throughout the day by the lighting effect integrated within, celebrating ocean travel in all its glories.
