Here's some fun news for fans of Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight, Interstellar): the director's next full-length movie now has a release date -- July  21, 2017.

Unfortunately, like many of his films, everything else remains a mystery at this point.

What we do know is that he just recently completed a script for the film, which will debut during a packed July schedule. Two weeks before Nolan's movie we'll get Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, and one week before we'll get War of the Planet of the Apes. Additionally, one week later we're supposed to get the next solo Spider-Man movie -- so, yeah, you could say that's a pretty stacked month of movies.

Will it remain that way? We don't know, and we imagine a lot of those decisions will come down to available IMAX space since all four of those films should most certainly be available on IMAX screens. Those itching for something new from Nolan can also check out a short documentary he just completed about a pair of identical-twin filmmakers. Here's more info on that.

What do you think Nolan will tackle next? Will it be another big-budget sci-fi movie (like Interstellar or Inception), or will he go smaller and more intimate, a la Memento or The Prestige?

What kind of movie would you like to see Nolan tackle next?
