King Kong

Kong: Skull Island will stomp into movie theaters on March 10, so it makes sense that we're hearing more rumblings about Godzilla: King of the Monsters, the next giant-monster movie. First came word that young Millie Bobby Brown, who broke out big as Eleven in the Netflix series Stranger Things, will star.

Now Kyle Chandler has joined the cast, per Variety. Chandler, who costarred in Peter Jackson's King Kong back in 2005 (above), will portray Brown's father. The movie is a sequel to the 2014 reboot of Godzilla, directed by Gareth Edwards. Reportedly, Ken Watanabe is the only member of that cast who will reprise his role. Michael Dougherty (Krampus) will direct; it's due in theaters on March 22, 2019.

Charlize Theron

Charlize Theron (above) will star in and produce Need to Know, Deadline reports, based on an upcoming novel by CIA analyst Karen Cleveland. Fittingly, the book follows a CIA analyst who "makes a shocking discovery that threatens her job, her family and her life."

Theron will next be seen as a villain in The Fate of the Furious (April 14), the thriller The Coldest City (August 11) and, later this year, Jason Reitman's motherhood comedy Tully

Alfie Allen

Director Shane Black just shared a cast photo from The Predator, which began production in Vancouver, Canada earlier this week, but the movie is still adding cast members. The latest to join is Alfie Allen (above), who you may recognize as Theon Greyjoy in HBO's Game of Thrones.

Allen will portray a former Marine who teams up with other fighting characters against an alien creature that has traveled to Earth to hunt humans, according to The Hollywood Reporter. It's slated for release on February 9, 2018.
