Meryl Streep is set to reunite with her Hope Springs co-star Tommy Lee Jones in The Homesman, a "pioneer period piece" written, directed, produced and starring Jones. Joining them will be two-time Oscar winner Hilary Swank, who gradually begins to resurface in projects following a slate of less-than-impressive horror-thrillers and romcoms (not to mention the backlash from the Chechan rebel's birthday).

The film centers on a claim-jumping man (Jones) and a frontierwoman as they escort three insane women from Nebraska to Iowa and battle the harsh elements of the prairie. Swank will play the frontierwoman, but Streep's role has not been clarified (perhaps one of the insane women?).

Does this trio of actors who share six acting Oscars amongst one another perk you interest in this film?
