What a difference a day makes. Following the New York Film Critics Circle's announcements yesterday, the National Board of Review took a decidedly indie spin in announcing its end-of-the-year accolades.

Spike Jonze's Her took home best picture and director wins while Fruitvale Station score a trio of wins in acting and directing categories. In fact, the only films to mirror their NYFCC wins yesterday were The Wind Rises (best animated feature) and Stories We Tell (best documentary).
