Skull Island: Officially announced at Comic-Con last weekend, the King Kong prequel Skull Island is heading toward a release date of November 4, 2016 -- but first, it needs a director. Legendary Pictures has reportedly offered the position to Joe Cornish, who got Hollywood's attention for directing the low-budget creature feature Attack the Block and cowriting early versions of Ant-Man with Edgar Wright. Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children: Eva Green (Sin City: A Dame to Kill For) is currently in negotiations to play the lead role in Tim Burton's upcoming movie Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.
