MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - He assaulted his girlfriend, pulled a knife on her at a busy intersection, then stole her car, authorities say. Now, Mobile police are hunting for him.

This is 24-year-old Kamaris Gray. Investigators tell us he started beating his girlfriend during an argument at an Airport Boulevard intersection, while they were inside her car. But when he pulled a knife-that’s when MPD tells us she bailed, and ran away. Gray then took off in her car. It was found later. The victim is ok-but police want Gray.

Take another look at Kamaris Gray’s picture on the page. He’s 6 feet, 1 inch tall, and weighs 180 pounds. Gray is charged with felony domestic violence, property theft, and other charges. Investigators say this isn’t the first time Gray has been violent.

Gray turned himself in on Monday, Jan. 22. Gray has a bond hearing scheduled Wednesday, jail records show.
