UPDATE: McKinney turned himself into MPD on Thursday, Feb 1.

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - A woman told a guy he couldn’t stay at her place any longer and asked him to leave. He responded by shooting her several times. That’s according to Mobile police.

They say 44-year-old Grady McKinney had been living at her place on Alta Vista Drive in South Mobile, for two weeks. But four days ago, she told him it was time for him to leave. Apparently, he took great offense to that, according to investigators, because when she turned to walk out of the room, he pulled a gun and shot her six times. Her wounds are not life threatening. She’s recovering. He just vanished.

Take another look at McKinney’s picture on this page. He’s 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds. The MPD thinks he may be crashing at someone else’s place-hopefully not yours- because they say he has no permanent address.
