Reports: Former Auburn coach Cadillac Williams expected to be hired by Las Vegas Raiders

LAS VEGAS, Nevada. (WBRC) - According to a report by Mike Gittens of The War Rapport, former Auburn Tigers football coach Cadillac Williams is expected to make a move to the NFL and become the new running backs coach under new HC Antonio Pierce.

Per a source, Former Auburn Assistant Coach Carnell Williams will accept a job with the Las Vegas Raiders. Williams will be the Raiders Running Backs Coach.

Williams served on the Auburn football coaching staff from 2019-2023, which included a stint as the interim HC in 2022, but resigned from his position earlier this year.

Williams, who is a native of Atalla, played for Auburn from 2001-2004 and spent seven years in the NFL as an RB before beginning his career in coaching in 2015 at Henderson State. This will be Williams’ first time coaching in the NFL.
