NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The NFL announced Friday that the 2024 salary cap will be $255.4 million per club, representing a $30 million increase from 2023.

That number topped earlier projections and will the Saints who are currently over the cap but not by as much as previously expected.

The Saints restructured Erik McCoy and reportedly done the same with Derek Carr to create cap space. The team is currently estimated to be about $40 million over the cap. They will likely restructure more contracts in the coming days to get cap compliant.
