Getting a closer look as Alabama spring football practice continues
First of three available windows for media to view practice
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WBRC) - A new era for spring football practice for the Alabama Crimson Tide as media were able to view the beginning of practice Wednesday afternoon.
Wednesday was one of three available practices that the media will have the chance to view as the Tide gear up for A-Day on April 13. Wednesday’s practice marked the second full spring practice and the first time media members were able to view a portion of practice since fall of 2021. It was definitely a different and fast-paced vibe at practice with music blaring in the background and assistant coaches speaking to the media for interviews afterwards.
“I told the guys the responsibility of the swarm defense, whether it’s run or pass, of stopping the offense is placed on all 11 shoulders of the defense,” Alabama defensive coordinator Kane Wommack said. “So, that’s the mentality that they have, but it takes a special effort to do those things.”
