NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The New Orleans Saints possessed a big need at offensive lineman, and they fulfilled it with drafting No. 14 overall Oregon St offensive tackle Taliese Fuaga.

Fuaga is 6′6″, 324 pounds. He started every game at right tackle for the Beavers in 2023.

His name is pronounced Tall-ee-s-a Foo-ah-gah.

The Saints return only three starters on the offensive line: Center Erick McCoy, guard Cesar Ruiz, and right tackle Ryan Ramczyk. There’s some secrecy on the condition of Ramczyk. He could be ready for training camp, or there’s also a chance he misses playing time this season with a knee injury.

The Saints other options on the line are: Trevor Penning, Nick Saldiveri, Landon Young, and Olisaemeka Udoh.

Offensive lineman (-600) was a heavy favorite to be the first drafted position by the Saints according to Caesars Sportsbook.

The Saints will next draft in Round 2 at 45th overall. They gained the pick from the Broncos.
