TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WBRC) - Kalen DeBoer’s first game as the head coach of the Crimson Tide will take place under the lights of Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Alabama and Western Kentucky will kick off in Tuscaloosa at 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 31.

It will be the third consecutive year that Alabama will open their season at home after appearing in neutral site games every year except one since 2012. Alabama opened the 2020 season on the road against Missouri.

This year’s game will be the fourth time Alabama and Western Kentucky have met on the football field since 2008, with the Tide having won all three under former head coach Nick Saban.
