TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WBRC) - Tuscaloosa Police say they have misdemeanor animal cruelty warrants for former Alabama defensive lineman Isaiah Buggs.

A complaint that was filed in the Tuscaloosa District Court says police, on March 28, found a Pitbull and Rottweiler who had been without food and water for several days. The complaint says that Buggs, who had been renting the home, moved out several days before the dogs were found.

The dogs were placed into the custody of the Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter, and according to court documents, the Rottweiler had parvo and was underweight. Unfortunately, the Pitbull had to be euthanized.

At this time, an investigation is underway.
