SPANISH FORT, Ala. (WALA) - While students in Baldwin County no longer have to wear uniforms this year, the school district still has a use for them.

From now until July 17, the school district will be collecting clean, used uniforms to be donated to students in Mobile County. These uniforms will be distributed free of charge.

Last month, FOX10 News reported that the school board voted unanimously to drop the uniform requirement for students in kindergarten through sixth grade to move to a dress code that aligns with what seventh through 12th graders currently have.

You can donate uniforms from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the City Hope Church central offices, 10063 Rockwell School Drive Suite A in Spanish Fort.
