Man arrested for lewd and lascivious behavior, sexual battery against minor

DEFUNIAK SPRINGS, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A 25-year-old man is in custody on two counts of lewd and lascivious behavior and sexual battery in DeFuniak Springs.
The U.S. Marshals Task Force, including members of the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, arrested Paulo Travoughn Macias at Adams Motel.
According to officials, Macias had active warrants for two counts of lewd and lascivious behavior on a victim 12-16 years of age, lewd and lascivious molestation on a victim under 12, and sexual battery on a victim less than 12.
Macias was transported and booked into the Walton County Jail and is waiting for his first appearance.
