CLAIBORNE CO., Miss. (WLBT) - Authorities have identified a third suspect after an escape at a Mississippi detention center last week.

On July 6, deputies found 24-year-old Tyrekennel Collins and 18-year-old Dezarrious Johnson at an abandoned home on Bridwell Lane.

The duo escaped the Claiborne County Detention Center around 2:20 a.m. on July 5.

After a further investigation, authorities determined that 18-year-old Kwasbi Nicholos Jr. also escaped the detention center on July 5.

The Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office tells 3 On Your Side that he briefly left the facility but returned inside by climbing up the wall through a small exterior window and through the ceiling.

On Monday, Collins, Johnson, and Nicholos Jr. had their initial appearances at the Claiborne County Justice Court. All bonds for the suspects were denied.
