Search for missing non-verbal autistic 4-year-old ends in tragedy

UPDATE: The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office reports that after an exhaustive search involving over 100 first responders, the body of a missing 4-year-old boy has been recovered.

MOLINO, Fla. (WALA) - The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help finding a missing/endangered non-verbal autistic 4-year-old boy.

Authorities say Darrel Beck was last seen today in the 5000 block of Barrineau Park School Road in Molino.

Darrel has blonde hair and was last seen wearing a Batman shirt and a diaper, the ECSO said.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office at 850-436-9620.
