SNAP of Alabama Bowling Tournament at fundraiser
MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - This Saturday at Bowlero Lanes in Mobile, SPECIAL NEEDS ATHLETE’S PROGRAMS will be holding the inaugural Teddy Bear 10 Pin Bowling Tournament and awards banquet.
The athlete that sells the most pins will get a 5-foot Teddy Bear plus $100. The second and third place athletes will receive a Teddy Bear and $50.00 for their efforts.
Each athlete that raises $10 or more will bowl two games. Lunch will be provided and all bowlers will receive a medal with the top three teams that participated in the spring session will receive first, second and third place trophies.
Donations are accepted on their website with credit card, PayPal, through the VEMO app, mailing a check to our treasurer, made out to SNAP at 7483 Meadow Wood Dr. Mobile, Al 36619. or by stopping by Bowlero Lanes this Saturday morning between 10-12 noon.
All donations go toward bowlers fees, shirts, medals and trophies, as well as other activities such as birthday parties, etc.
Everyone is welcome to stop by to see what Snap of Alabama does. If you know of any Special Needs Person that may like to participate this coming fall and winter, their next 12 week session will start on Aug. 17.
