Boat house fire reported on Fish River

MAGNOLIA SPRINGS, Ala. (WALA) - Magnolia Springs Fire Rescue officials report fighting a boat house fire on Fish River Saturday night.

Just after 10pm on Saturday night Magnolia Springs Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a reported Boat House on fire on Fish River. Upon arrival crews found the structure and all of its contents fully involved and fire impinging on the residence. Thanks to the quick action of firefighters no other structures were damaged but unfortunately the boathouse was a total loss. After nearly 6 hours of being on the scene and getting all of our equipment back in service your MSVFD firefighters stand ready to respond to your next emergency.
