91st ALABAMA DEEP SEA FISHING RODEO - Liars Contest Thurs , Rodeo Fri 5am-Sun 5pm, ADSFR Rodeo Site, Dauphin Island. The Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo, a Project of the Mobile Jaycees, is the largest fishing tournament in the world. Founded in 1929, the fishing rodeo now attracts over 4,000 anglers and 75,000 spectators. Live music Thursday 7:30-10:30 Johnny Hayes; Fri 7p-10p Bruce Smelley; Sat 2p-5p Justin Tulo; and Sun 1p-4p Keith Burns. Weigh station open 10am-7pm Fri/Sat; 10am-5pm Sun.

21 & UP NIGHT, featuring HAVANA MOTOR CLUB - Sat. Join us for a special screening of the award winning documentary! HAVANA MOTOR CLUB tells a personal, character-driven story about Cuba’s vibrant community of underground drag racers and their quest to hold Cuba’s first official car race since shortly after the 1959 Revolution. Bring your own beer/wine, no liquor please. Valid ID required. 21+ ONLY. Please limit drinks to one bottle/one 6-pack per person! The Cafe will be open for light refreshments, snacks and beverages.

NATIONAL MOON DAY CELEBRATION - Thurs 6pm-8pm, Pensacola MESS Hall, Downtown Pensacola. The Pensacola MESS Hall is hosting a celebration of the first landing of people on the moon on July 18, 2024. Enjoy out of this world activities as well as a chance to explore the MESS Hall with other adults. In tribute to the age-old myth of the moon being made of cheese, refreshments will include cheese platters and charcuterie boards. Additionally, along with wine, we will serve Moonwalk cocktails, purportedly the first thing Armstrong and Aldrin sipped on their return to Earth.

DAUPHIN STREET VAULT - Sat 8am-9pm, Dauphin Street at Joachim, Downtown Mobile. Athletes of all ages and skill levels will compete in this annual invitational, which continues to elevate the sport of pole vaulting. The event offers a fun environment for athletes to compete and provides spectators with a close-up view. Hosted by the Mobile Sports Authority.

MOVIE ON THE BLUFF: PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN CURSE OF THE BLACK PEARL - Sat 8pm, Henry George Park at Fairhope Pier. Join us for our 4th Annual Movie on The Bluff Summer Series! Catch a free movie after you enjoy the sunset on Mobile Bay. Popcorn and snow cones will be provided. Donations not required but appreciated. Any amounts received will go to benefit Fairhope Schools. Bring a chair or blanket!

SUMMER MUSIC AT MEYER PARK: Cameron DuBois and Bama Sound - Thurs 5:30pm, Meyer Park, Gulf Shores. Grab your friends, family members, and a blanket or lawn chair and join us for the Music at Meyer Park concerts. These concerts are free and open to the public.These are rain or shine events. In the event of rain, the back-up location will be at the Big Beach Brewery.
