President Joe Biden: 'Let me emphasize. We gave Putin no excuse to blame this on the West or to blame this on NATO.'

WASHINGTON (Gray DC) - President Joe Biden is ready to host world leaders visiting Washington D.C. for NATO’s 75th Anniversary.

Leaders from NATO countries -- including new UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starme -- will be in attendance.

The focus of the summit is to reassure Ukraine that NATO’s 32 member countries will continue to support its fight against Russia as the war grinds on for more than two years.

Former President Trump is campaigning in Miami on Tuesday.

He is expected to announce his pick for Vice President next week at the Republican National Convention.

As for Biden -- it’s a critical week on Capitol Hill as the nation waits to see if any more Democrats join the call for Biden to drop out of the 2024 election.

Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell is set to testify in front of Congress on Tuesday about inflation and the economy.
