Graham Ulkins

Graham Ulkins is the evening anchor for Gray Television’s Local News Live. He helped launch the 24/7 streaming channel in Spring 2021.

Previously, Graham spent 13 years as an anchor and reporter for WAFB-TV in his hometown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He covered a wide range of stories, including several major hurricanes, the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill, the 2016 ambush shooting of six police officers, countless colorful political campaigns, and major sporting events like Super Bowl XLVII.

While anchoring the station’s top-rated morning show, the team won two regional Emmy awards and one regional Edward R. Murrow Award.

Graham has taken part in several exchange programs in Europe, including a 2014 fellowship awarded by the Radio Television Digital News Association to study journalism in Berlin, Brussels, and Prague.

In his free time, Graham enjoys feeding his travel bug and entertaining his rescue dog, Katie Couric.
