My son transferred into St. George over a year ago. I have been very pleased with the teachers and the Principal is old school and believes in her students.

Principal is not the best. Teachers are not invested or even enthusiastic about teaching. They are there to collect a check. There is no sense of diversity and principal makes sure that it stays that way. She will deny all incoming internal transfers. Give no reason what so ever as to why she’s denying. It’s not a good school it’s just an old reputation it had that has lingered around.

Sending our child to this school was the best decision we could have made. Initially, our child had some behavioral issues, but the staff encouraged us to be patient and allow him to find his footing. After a year, we discovered he was a gifted student. The staff went above and beyond to identify the issue, which turned out to be that he was simply bored and not being challenged enough in class. Once he was tested, his performance improved significantly. The staff worked closely with us to find the right tools and strategies to support our child's development. I highly recommend this school to everyone. The staff feels like family, and both you and your children will feel at home here.

Excellent school, that has a history of ministering to families and provide a high-level education. Small classroom sizes allows us to be fully involved with our child education

We love being a part of the Three Trails community. I have always felt well supported as a parent and a PTA member. Our children love going to school and feel loved and safe here.

I have 3 adult children and 2 still in this amazing school. Like any other public school in the U.S. sports is talked about and promoted frequently. However, so is the band, show choir, FFA, FCA, speech, debate, and academia. They offer dual credit classes and promote good attendance and skills testing for all students. They made great improvements for the extra-abled students and have a great student-to-teacher ratio. The complaints I have read on this site do not advocate for the community or the student population fairly. Teenagers are hard. Being a teacher is hard and any one star review is probably from those people who make it that way.

Nancy Ryles is a jewel in BSD. There aren't any other elementary schools like it. Not only is there excellent teachers, an explorative learning environment, value placed on art/science/math, but the environment itself is just magical. There are 33 languages spoken at this school and its a special place where you have diversity, and it's celebrated where the kids put on a world festival, celebrating and sharing their heritage. The school itself is in a location that allows for safety, many kids walk to school under the watchful eye of our favorite long term crossing guard, and the neighborhood "walking school bus" is a joy to watch.

Central is a great place that continues to innovate as best as it can despite the space limitations. This is the fastest growing school district around, probably across Northern Illinois. It needs new facilities to alleviate enrollment challenges, but the staff is dedicated, the culture is strong, and the community is passionate. Sports are great. They have winning programs. The marching band is one of the best!

I have had nothing but GOOD experience's with the staff at meadows. We have had a couple road bumps over the years and every teacher and staff member have treated my son and I with respect and compassion. He has also really thrived since starting school here a few years ago.

The community is really tightly bonded due to such a small school. The best bonds however are through sports and the arts which I was very involved in. The faculty and staff are very approachable and I built lots of great bonds with them.
