- DirectorSam EsmailStarsRami MalekElliot VillarChristian SlaterVera holds Krista hostage as he tries to force Elliot into joining him by understanding Mr. Robot. Elliot realizes a shocking truth.10/10 - Not only the best episode of the show but one of the best in television history, probably top 3. Absolutely adore the style and the twist is some of the hardest TV I’ve had to watch. Absolutely beautiful. My only possible gripe is that I don’t like what they did with Vera but that’s just me.
- DirectorSam EsmailStarsRami MalekCarly ChaikinPortia DoubledayElliot faces off with Mr. Robot; Dom gets tired of the red tape; Tyrell has a new plan.9.9/10 - Somehow keeps the momentum going from last episode and climaxes amazingly. Remember S2EP10’s awesome and incredibly tense ending? Imagine that for a whole episode, brilliant. However like last ep, once again losses a point for contrivances.
- DirectorSam EsmailStarsRami MalekCarly ChaikinPortia DoubledayElliot tries to piece everything together and stop Stage 2 as chaos quickly unfolds at E Corp and Angela tries to do a job intended for Elliot while avoiding imminent threats. Darlene brings Elliot up to speed and tells him the truth.9.9/10 - Long take. That’s it. Peak TV. Not a perfect 10 due to contrivances.
- DirectorSam EsmailStarsRami MalekCarly ChaikinPortia DoubledayMr. Robot wants answers; the FBI closes in; Angela hits the rewind button.9.8/10 - It’s still going after 2 of the best episodes and makes for the best run of episodes in the show, and one of the best 3 episodes back to back in TV history. Maybe the darkest episode of the show, with huge reveals, horrible twists (in a good way) and paying off the 2 post credit scenes. Oh also Leon and one of the best WhiteRose/Price scenes. Last 2 episodes are slightly better, and I think the direction they took Angela doesn’t fully work, but another peak TV episode.
- DirectorChristoph SchreweStarsRami MalekCarly ChaikinPortia DoubledayAllsafe is hacked and Elliot is meeting Whiterose. Tyrell is interrogated by the police and Elliot remembers who he really is.9.7/10 - In a way the climax of the season with all the storylines at their most exciting and coming together wonderfully, plus having the shattering twist finally revealed. Definitely the best S1 episode. Bonus points for introducing White Rose epically.
- DirectorSam EsmailStarsRami MalekCarly ChaikinGrace GummerElliot blackmails Olivia to make an important phone call. Dom struggles when she's ordered to do something distressing and Vera gets information out of Krista. Whiterose wants Elliot brought directly to her.9.6/10 - One of the darkest episodes in the show that really Re-examines how far Elliot has gone and is willing to go, plus beautifully setting up the next episode with some amazing dialogue and acting from the Vera scenes.
- DirectorSam EsmailStarsRami MalekCarly ChaikinPortia DoubledayElliot gets to Coney Island, and the delusion begins to slip. Mr. Robot reveals the truth.9.6/10 - One of the greatest finales ever.
- DirectorSam EsmailStarsRami MalekCarly ChaikinGrace GummerEnough is enough. Elliot goes to the Washington Township Power Plant.9.5/10 - Incredible dialogue, acting, and twists, although pretty simple episode.
- DirectorSam EsmailStarsRami MalekCarly ChaikinPortia DoubledayElliot wonders if Mr. Robot has been lying to him, Darlene attempts to do the right thing and Dom and the FBI get closer.9.5/10 - Best episode of S2. Incredible crescendo and pay off to multiple storylines in one of the best episode endings of the series.
- DirectorSam EsmailStarsRami MalekPortia DoubledayChristian SlaterElliot wakes up in an abandoned lot following the explosion at the Washington Township plant, which is no longer there.9.5/10 - Brought up by that awesome ending.
- DirectorSam EsmailStarsRami MalekCarly ChaikinPortia DoubledayElliot realizes his mission, and needs help from Angela; Darlene worries about them coming out clean.9.5/10 - Beautiful ep. Some forced plot stuff brings it down. Favorite premiere, amazing set up.
- DirectorTricia BrockStarsRami MalekCarly ChaikinPortia DoubledayElliot has to face the challenges of his past, and become accustomed to his new found family.9.5/10 - Strong continuation of the last scene wonderfully exploring Elliot’s character and with some impactful plot development in the background. I love how it doubles the twist but at the same time the beginning portion of the episode isn’t totally necessary in the grand scheme of things.
- DirectorSam EsmailStarsRami MalekCarly ChaikinMichael CristoferMr. Robot and Darlene attempt to take down the Deus group as Elliot remains unstable. Price faces off with Whiterose. Whiterose tries to manipulate Elliot and Mr. Robot struggles to figure out how to help Elliot find himself.9.4/10 - One of the best pay off episodes and one of my favorites but unfortunately the plot here is really forced which stops me from giving it a way higher score. Should be one of the best but unfortunately it remains here. Some of the best music on the show here.
- DirectorSam EsmailStarsRami MalekCarly ChaikinMartin WallströmTyrell, Elliot, and Mr. Robot go on a perilous journey through the woods. Darlene deals with her feelings when she has to take a drunk Santa home. Dom is aroused and has a nightmare.9.3+/10 - Not that big plot wise, but very impactful and beautifully executed episode. I originally gave it a 9.5, but while I understand it, I am disappointed by what they did to Tyrell.
- DirectorSam EsmailStarsRami MalekCarly ChaikinPortia DoubledayAnother huge discovery for Elliot surrounding his family and fsociety, Tyrell's world starts to close around him and Angela has a rather unexpected visitor.9.4/10 - Love this episode but it’s kinda weird for a finale and has a few things that are never payed off. Regardless amazing ep and season finale. I go between this episode and the last one on which I end up giving 10 stars because they’re both very close to me, but I ended up giving it to the last episode because I’m harsher with finales.
- DirectorDeborah ChowStarsRami MalekCarly ChaikinPortia DoubledayElliot attempts to hack Vera out of jail in order to save someone he cares about; Tyrell's "game" gets crazy; and Angela digs deeper into her mother's death.9.4/10 - Chilling ending, just perfectly executed with the music and cinematography. The entire episode is the best yet, very exciting and engaging, but unfortunately let down by some logical issues which stop me from giving it a 9.5+/10.
- DirectorSam EsmailStarsRami MalekCarly ChaikinPortia DoubledayElliot tries to save Darlene, but things don't go as planned; Mr. Robot must decide whether to step up or step back.9.4/10 - The execution of this episode is incredible, it’s so incredibly tense, so many great reveals, and set up, it’s an incredible episode but it due to last episode’s issues that this episode loses some points.
- DirectorSam EsmailStarsRami MalekCarly ChaikinPortia DoubledayElliot becomes encouraged trying to undo five/nine. Darlene gets stuck between a rock and a hard place; Mr. Robot sparks a panic.9.3/10 - Such a strong start to S3
- DirectorSam EsmailStarsRami MalekCarly ChaikinPortia DoubledayElliot is hesitant about fsociety and is offered a new job. Elliot worries about Shayla's association with Fernando Vera; Ollie is given a CD outside of Allsafe. Mr. Robot makes Elliot talk about his father.9.3/10 - One of the best second episodes to a series. It just feels like a much tighter pilot without having to bother with the set up. Continuous the plot amazingly, and fixes the dialogue issue from the first episode already.
- DirectorSam EsmailStarsRami MalekCarly ChaikinPortia DoubledayMr. Robot and Elliot try to keep the peace. Fsociety releases a video honoring Uncle Sam. Darlene acts upon an old desire.9.3/10 - Season continues to be slower but with great development and engrossing scenes. Twist at the end is great but honestly in the grand scheme of things does this even matter than much? On rewatch I didn’t care for it as much.
- DirectorSam EsmailStarsRami MalekCarly ChaikinMartin WallströmJanice tries to get Elliot's location from Dom and Darlene. Elliot goes to the Queens Museum.9.2/10 - Very strong aftermath episode, very tense, strong arc for Elliot, and some crazy developments on the Darlene/Dom side. However, brought down because I think that plot was resolved too cleanly, and it isn’t as big as the last 2 eps.
- DirectorSam EsmailStarsRami MalekChristian SlaterCarly ChaikinMr. Robot has an original way to show Elliot that he can be useful. Darlene and Angela take a shot at their plan.9+/10 - Very unique episode with the sitcom beginning. Did what WandaVision tried to do better in 15m than that entire shitshow. And then the Angela side of the plot is so tense and well done. Just an awesome ep.
- DirectorNiels Arden OplevStarsRami MalekCarly ChaikinPortia DoubledayA notorious hacker takes an interest in cyber security engineer and vigilante styled computer hacker Elliot, while an evil corporation is hacked.9/10 - Definitely one of the best pilots, sets up so much so well and is even cooler on rewatch seeing all the foreshadowing. A small weakness is the dialogue feels a lot more on the nose and cliched than the rest of the show.
- DirectorSam EsmailStarsRami MalekCarly ChaikinPortia DoubledayElliot nearly loses all hope after the recent tragedy, but ends up having to take Trenton's brother to the movies. Elliot wants to pay his respects to Trenton and Mobley and he receives an important email.9/10 - Beautiful episode but not one of my favs tbh. I appreciate this ep more than I like it tbh. It just feels a little too cutesy, and doesn’t have any real plot development. Good for the characters.
- DirectorSam EsmailStarsRami MalekCarly ChaikinPortia DoubledayThe former interim CTO of E Corp returns.8.7+/10 - I love Tyrell so it’s awesome to get his perspective of events and it fills in the blank of many events with great recontextualizations and some reveals. However I do think more could’ve been done with this ep in terms of Tyrell’s character and it doesn’t move the plot forward.
