Jennifer Aniston is back in the news today for slipping her curves into a stunning, plunging dress, one deemed "very perky" by The Daily Mail. The actress, 55, turned heads while filming scenes for Season 4 of The Morning Show this week, and she displayed those same "perky" assets back in 2011, when she starred in movie Just Go With It. Earlier today, a fan on X reminded the platform of Jen's sensational figure, sharing two bikini-clad photos from the 2011 flick, and fans likely remember the look.

The presence of drag performers at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris was proof of liberal democracy’s demonic tendencies, or so says the man who made a career off of doing drag and buddying up with the literal son of Satan.
When the critically panned and commercially unsuccessful Little Nicky first hit theaters in late 2000, there was a surprising lack of conservative Christian outrage surrounding the premiere of a comedy about the Prince of Darkness’ succession troubles and one well-meaning devil spawn’s best efforts to prevent the creation of a new Hell in New York City.
Little Nicky marked the beginning of the end of star Adam Sandler’s immaculate run of comedy classics as the star’s output in the aughts failed to meet the humorous heights of his 1990s filmography, and the 2010s would prove even more painful for Sandler-heads when the Saturday Night Live...

Al Pacino got his breakout role as Michael Corleone in Francis Ford Coppola’s The Godfather. The actor got an Oscar nomination for his compelling performance in the film. The actor reprised the role in the sequels The Godfather Part II and The Godfather Part III. While audiences still love the trilogy as a whole, they consider the first film to be the best film among the three.
Al Pacino and Marlon Brando in The Godfather | Paramount Pictures
Pacino got to share screen space opposite Marlon Brando who played Michael’s father, Vito Corleone. However, that combo almost didn’t happen as another bonafide actor was first attached to the role of Michael. Jack Nicholson turned down The Godfather in favor of other projects as he found them more interesting than Coppola’s film.

The trailer just dropped for Mr. Throwback, a new mockumentary series starring Happy Endings’ Adam Pally, Saturday Night Live’s Ego Nwodim and… The Golden State Warriors’ Steph Curry?
Produced by David Wain, Mr. Throwback actually looks pretty funny for a show starring an NBA point guard in a prominent role. Come to think of it, there have been more than a few solid comedies featuring pro basketball players, such as…
5 Marques Johnson in ‘White Men Can’t Jump’
When we think of White Men Can’t Jump, we tend to think of Wesley Snipes, Woody Harrelson, and of course, Jeopardy! champion Rosie Perez.
But it also features former NBA player Marques Johnson as Raymond, an aggrieved victim of Billy and Syd’s hustle. Johnson later revealed that the character was based on real-life basketball player Reggie Harding, who died tragically in 1972.

While he’s renowned for flying fighter planes and free-falling off cliffs on motorcycles, veteran action icon Tom Cruise has a medley of intriguing roles on his star-studded resume, including a (sort of) motivational speaker who makes a living off of misogyny. No, really.

But what Cruise does, he does it best, be it aviating or holding seminars on getting laid. In fact, he was so good at the latter that he gave Adam Sandler a serious fright after promising to hook him up with the film’s director.

Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F unsurprisingly reunited Eddie Murphy’s Detective Axel Foley with several of his old buddies from the first three movies. But he also briefly bumped into… the villain from a completely unrelated Adam Sandler movie?
One of the oddest moments in Axel F (which was actually a lot of fun) comes when Foley and his daughter’s ex Bobby crash a helicopter onto a golf course. The conclusion of the movie’s biggest action sequence finds the two cops being confronted by an angry golfer played by none other than Christopher McDonald. While McDonald is credited simply as “Golfer,” some fans naturally assumed that he was supposed to be Happy Gilmore’s nemesis Shooter McGavin.
Sure, he could have just been playing a brand new character. Or, for that matter, Marty from Hacks, who has been known to play golf occasionally. But it seems pretty...

Google a list of the all-time best Saturday Night Live hosts, and you’ll find a surprising number of people who you’d never guess were funny in the first place.
I mean, before SNL, who knew athletes Charles Barkley and Peyton Manning were hilarious? Who watched Nsync videos and predicted that Justin Timberlake had “Dick in a Box” in him? Billie Eilish? Chance the Rapper? Anyone have news anchor Brian Williams on their funny bingo card?
As the show embarks on its landmark 50th season, here are five more suggestions for out-of-the-box SNL hosts who just might knock it out of the park…
1 Tony Hawk
Hawk has been quietly comedy-adjacent for years, appearing in College Humor sketches, skateboarding in a fat suit in a Jackass movie and lending his voice to The Simpsons.

Who do you think would die first in a four-way battle royale between Seth Rogen, Will Ferrell, Jim Carrey and Adam Sandler? Who do you think has had the least inspiring film career between those four? Are both answers the same?
Look, anyone who has ever written and starred in a mid-budget comedy produced by a major studio is doing pretty okay from a career standpoint, so it would be ludicrous to suggest that any of the men mentioned above is somehow a failure, despite what their biggest haters may say. But speaking of haters, only one of those four funnymen has a large and devoted anti-stan movement on Twitter that relishes in taking every opportunity to snarkily reply to a picture of him lighting a giant fake bong at a Hollywood Bowl show and tell him, “We get it man.”

Hollywood just keeps greenlighting follow-ups to comedies from the 2000s, including the recent Mean Girls musical remake, the upcoming Legally Blonde prequel series, and of course, The Bear, which is basically just a more stressful, pest-free Ratatouille.
But what about The House Bunny? You know, the 2008 Anna Faris vehicle about a Playboy model who is kicked out of the Playboy Mansion under false pretenses, and ends up becoming the House Mother to a college sorority. Hijinks ensue, obviously.
The House Bunny, has accrued something of a cult following over the years, thanks in no small part to its supporting cast, which features future stars like Emma Stone and Kat Dennings. So are there any plans to make The House Bunny: Legacy? Or The House Bunny 2049?

Production on the Adam Sandler-led sequel Happy Gilmore 2 will begin soon, several decades after the release of the 1995 golfing comedy.
1995’s Happy Gilmore was one of the films upon which Adam Sandler built his movie stardom and decades later, he’s returning for a follow-up. News of the project first surfaced in March with the reveal that a script was being written. Then, in May we heard that Happy Gilmore 2 had gotten the go-ahead from Netflix.
Given how the change in leadership at Netflix’s film division has slowed down the progress of some other projects such as The Old Guard 2, Sandler’s return to the world of Happy Gilmore 2 seems to have suffered no such impediment as we’ve learned that the production will go before cameras in September.
Adam Sandler is of course returning as the title character, a well-meaning everyman with a slight anger problem.

According to regular Adam Sandler co-star Nick Swardson, getting a role in one of the Sandman’s movies is roughly equivalent to him calling you up to join a game of pick-up basketball. (Sandler might do that too.) Take, for example, the time Swardson was cast in Just Go With It alongside Jennifer Aniston.
“Sandler called me, I remember exactly where I was,” Swardson told David Spade and Dana Carvey on their Fly on the Wall podcast. “I was at Baby Blues BBQ in Venice, and Sandler calls me and he goes, ‘Hey, what are you doing?’ And I go, ‘I’m having dinner. Why? What’s up?’ And he goes, ‘Can you do a German accent?’ And I go, ‘What? Like this?’”
Here Swardson said something unintelligible in Germanic gibberish.
“And (Sandler) goes, ‘Okay, perfect. Call you tomorrow.’”
The next day, Sandler called back as promised. “We’re doing a movie in Hawaii.

One of the all-time greats in the world of silent film comedy, Harold Lloyd, is perhaps best known for his monumental work Safety Last!, which, in addition to providing Boeing with a perfect slogan, gave us the iconic scene in which Lloyd perilously hangs from a clockface.
He also starred in classics like the college football comedy The Freshman, which no doubt served as the inspiration for Adam Sandler’s The Waterboy.
But before both of those projects, Lloyd was the victim of a freak accident that left him horribly injured, all due to a mishap that wouldn’t have seemed out of place in one of his silent comedies. In 1919, Lloyd inked a deal with Pathe distributors to star in a new series of films, and agreed to pose for a photographer in order to promote the arrangement. During the photo shoot, Lloyd was given a trunk full of props,...

Winona Ryder, Marisa Tomei, Kate Beckinsale, and Leslie Mann are some of the amazing actresses that Sandler has worked with. Timothée Chalamet is to star in Josh Safdie's new A24 movie 'Marty Supreme'. The US independent entertainment company - which was behind movies such as 'Uncut Gems', 'Everything Everywhere All At Once', and 'Lady Bird' - took to social media to confirm Chalamet has joined their latest project. A post on A24's X account read: "Josh Safdie's Marty Supreme starring @RealChalamet. Coming soon (sic)"According to Variety, the motion picture will take inspiration from late professional table tennis player Marty Reisman. But sources close to the movie told the publication it is a fictionalised story. Safdie, who is re-teaming with A24 after they distributed his previous films 'Uncut Gems' and 'Good Time', has penned the script alongside Ronald Bronstein. Reisman, who was known as the "wizard of table tennis", won 22 major table tennis titles from 1946 to 2002.He passed away in December 2012 aged...

Dune star Timothée Chalamet goes from sand to sport in the upcoming ping pong film Marty Supreme, made by the co-director of Uncut Gems.
Timothée Chalamet will star in Marty Supreme, a ping pong movie that is set to be directed by Josh Safdie. After starring in two epic Dune movies (and with Dune: Messiah set to come), Chalamet has chosen a change of pace and scale with his latest film, a biopic of a table tennis hustler turned champion.
Although the Safdie Brothers are no longer a fillmmaking duo, they’re still connected by a seeming love of sports biopics. After making Good Time and Uncut Gems together, the duo split and are now working on separate sports biopics for A24. After making Good Time and Uncut Gems together, the duo split and are now working on separate sports biopics for A24. Benny is directing The Smashing Machine, an Mma drama featuring Dwayne Johnson, while Josh now has Chalamet signed up for this ping pong drama. Let’s not also...

Power Ballad, directed by John Carney and starring Paul Rudd and Nick Jonas, is coming to UK cinemas via Lionsgate. More here.
Now in post-production comes the latest film from John Carney. The man who previously brought us the likes of Once, Begin Again and Sing Street has been making a new musical comedy in Dublin, going by the name of Power Ballad.
News of it first came to light earlier this year, with a cast led by Paul Rudd and Nick Jonas. The story is that of a wedding singer – played by Rudd, and definitely not Adam Sandler – who’s had his best days. Then he comes into contact with a young rockstar, played by Jonas, and the idea there is that the songwriting of the former and help boost the career of the latter.
The film came together independently, and it’s now snapped up its distributor. Given...

Greta Gerwig has been tapped to receive this year’s Pioneer of the Year Award. She’s only the second female director to receive the prestigious honor after Elizabeth Banks.
She’ll be feted at the Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation’s annual dinner on Sept. 25 at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.
All three of the films Gerwig has written and directed solo — Barbie, Lady Bird and Little Women — landed Oscar nominations for best picture, while Gerwig herself received Oscar nominations for best director and best original screenplay for Lady Bird, best adapted screenplay for Little Women and best adapted screenplay for Barbie.
Last year, Barbie, which Gerwig co-wrote with Noah Baumbach for Warner Bros., became the first film from a solo female director to gross more than $1 billion at the global box office.

Timothée Chalamet is eyeing the lead role in Josh Safdie’s next film.
The actor is in final negotiations to star in A24’s upcoming feature Marty Supreme, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. Plot details are under wraps, but the movie is said to be a fictionalized original work.
Safdie is set to helm the film from a script he co-wrote with Ronald Bronstein. Producers include Safdie, Chalamet, Bronstein, Eli Bush and Anthony Katagas.
The project reunites Safdie with A24 after the company produced his two most recent films, Good Time (2017) and Uncut Gems (2019), both of which he co-directed with his brother Benny Safdie. The Safdies are no longer planning to co-direct projects but continue to produce together through their company Elara Pictures. Bronstein has writing credits on both the Robert Pattinson-led Good Time and the Adam Sandler-starring Uncut Gems.

Timothée Chalamet could be perfecting his backspin, Chop, and lob while in final talks to play ping pong professional Marty Reisman in Josh Safdie’s A24 film Marty Supreme. Safdie wrote the original movie alongside Ronald Bronstein, who produced it with Eli Bush and Anthony Hatagas. A24 confirmed the project by sharing a social media post with a black-and-white photo of the film’s title printed on a ping-pong ball.
Reisman passed away in 2012, but not before leaving behind a legacy of mythical proportions in the ping-pong community. Variety reports that the table tennis star began his career by hustling others in the lightning-fast game of paddle warfare. He won 22 significant ping pong titles from 1946 to 2002 and five bronze medals at the World Table Tennis Championships. Variety also notes that at 67, Reisman played in the United States National Hardbat Championship and became the oldest player to win an open national competition in a racket sport.

With Timothée Chalamet next playing Bob Dylan, he’ll next be trading singing for ping pong slinging.
The actor, who is portraying Bob Dylan in James Mangold’s “A Complete Unknown,” is in final negotiations to star in and produce Josh Safdie’s “Marty Supreme” about a professional ping pong champ, A24 announced on Monday.
The movie is a fictionalized, original film written by Safdie and Ronald Bronstein, and official plot details are being kept under wraps.
Though as Variety is reporting, the film may be loosely inspired by the life of Marty Reisman, a ping pong champion who won 22 major ping pong titles from 1946 to 2002, and five bronze medals at the World Table Tennis Championships across his career. He also made history as the oldest player to win an open national competition in a racket sport while competing in the United States National Hardbat Championship. He died in 2012.

Even if you don't know the name Genndy Tartakovsky, chances are high that if you watched cartoons in the '90s or '00s, you've seen his work. "Dexter's Laboratory" kickstarted the reign of Cartoon Network by becoming the first so-called "Cartoon Cartoon," while "Samurai Jack" is one of the most influential cartoons from the '00s thanks to Tartakovsky's eye for dynamic action and understanding of the importance of silence in storytelling. Even his "Star Wars: Clone Wars" micro-series continues to influence "Star Wars" to this day. And outside of animation, Tartakovsky helped save the action scenes in "Iron Man 2."
In 2012, Tartakovsky made his feature film debut with "Hotel Transylvania," a movie that brought together classic Universal Monsters and reimagined them into a fun animated movie for all ages seen from the eyes of a human who falls in love with Dracula's daughter. It was a monster movie...

Andy Samberg is looking back on walking away from Saturday Night Live.
While appearing on Kevin Hart’s Peacock interview series Hart to Heart, the comedian recalled why he made the decision to quietly exit the comedy sketch series after seven seasons back in 2012.
“I was falling apart in my life,” he said, opening up about the exit all these years later. He called the decision to leave “a big choice” and though he didn’t want to leave, he couldn’t “endure it anymore.”
Samberg joined SNL in 2005. After seven years, his contract was up and he decided not to return after the 2011-2012 season wrapped, officially announcing his decision weeks after the finale.

Exclusive: Earlier this year, Hulu revealed that it was making a big push into stand-up comedy, taking on the likes of Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
The Disney-backed streamer has now signed up another big name to its roster – Bill Burr.
Burr’s next comedy special, which was taped in June at the Moore Theatre in Seattle, will air on Hulu as part of the Hulu’s Laughing Now banner.
He joins Jim Gaffigan, whose special The Skinny, will kick off the push on November 22. The plan is to have 12 specials across the year with one launching each month.
Deadline understands that Hulu is also in talks with other big names and is close to other deals.

"Saturday Night Live" is a comedy institution that has been on the air for nearly a half-century. Soon, the series will be celebrating its milestone 50th season, which will include a star-studded anniversary celebration coming to NBC in February 2025. Even if you're one of those people who (wrongly) tells people that "SNL" isn't funny anymore, you can't deny that the late night sketch comedy series has cultivated some of the most brilliant comedic minds in modern Hollywood history -- whether it's the rough edges of live TV comedy innovation that came with the likes of Dan Aykroyd, John Belushi, Bill Murray, and Gilda Radner in the 1970s or the off-kilter shenanigans of Mike Myers, Dana Carvey, Chris Farley, and Adam Sandler in the '90s. (Even the troublesome 1980s years under the supervision of producer Dick Ebersol gave us Eddie Murphy and Martin Short.)

Sam Morril is pumped about his new special, You’ve Changed, which debuts on Prime Video today. There’s only one problem: Scaling the top of the comedy mountain with a streaming special just means the wry Morril has to prepare more tour material “again and again, til I die.”
Morril, one of the only comics alive to warm up an audience for Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker, recently talked to Cracked about his childhood comedy heroes, the importance of trust in stand-up and the art of telling an edgy joke.
“As a really young kid, probably like in kindergarten, I realized I could do armpit farts. Oh my God, I was crushing. No one else could do them. And I was doing slow ones and fast ones. It was definitely an intro to comedy.”

By now, many of you have undoubtedly watched Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F on Netflix. While jam-packed with easter eggs that will please fans of the series, the movie also contains an unusual cameo that left a lot of fans scratching their heads, as it seems to suggest that another highly anticipated Netflix sequel takes place in the same universe as Axel F.
That movie, of course, is Happy Gilmore 2. In Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, Christopher McDonald shows up as an irate Beverly Hills golfer, with many assuming he’s, in fact, playing the famous Happy Gilmore antagonist Shooter McGavin. Indeed, he certainly looks like Shooter and acts like Shooter, so could he be playing the same guy?
Given that Netflix is behind Happy Gilmore 2 and Axel F, it seems reasonable to assume that this cameo is more than just a coincidence. Murphy and Adam Sandler both...

Two of the world’s biggest comedy stars shared a crummy apartment before either of them hit it big. “Adam Sandler was my roommate back before he was on Saturday Night Live,” Judd Apatow once told Howard Stern. “We were just starting out as comics. We lived in the valley in North Hollywood together. We were right at the moment where we were trying to figure out how we were going to break through, and it was just so clear that Adam was a 100,000 times funnier than I was.”
Why was Apatow so convinced about Sandler’s comic abilities? One clue was the prank phone calls that the future Happy Gilmore star would make in their apartment. “Sandler had so much energy to make comedy,” remembered Apatow. “He didn’t know what to do with it. It was just coming out of his ears all day long so he was...

Mark Molloy's "Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F" succeeds in large part because it is unabashedly formulaic in a way many mainstream programmers are afraid to be nowadays (though we're not all fans here at /Film). Yes, superhero movies and four-quadrant family entertainments contain obligatory elements like Easter eggs for the properties' hardcore fan base and mid- or post-credit scenes to juice excitement for the next installment, but, narratively, the brand managers (i.e. filmmakers) feel a need to overdeliver. It's no longer enough to deliver a simple, well-told story. This is how ephemeral studio/streaming tentpoles wind up with bloated runtimes and obscenely inflated budgets. When viewers look up from their phones to check in on "Red Notice," they expect to see something of significance happening.
"Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F," which mercifully clocks in a shade under two hours (with credits), has its share of fan service, but story-wise,...

After making comedies about the pro-golf circuit, the school system and college football, Adam Sandler decided to explore the hilarious world of child endangerment with Big Daddy, which also featured pre-Daily Show Jon Stewart, a pre-Knocked Up Leslie Mann and a pre-constantly publicly embarrassing himself Rob Schneider.
Big Daddy recently turned 25, and to mark the anniversary, The Hollywood Reporter chatted with producer Sid Ganis and co-writer Steve Franks, all about how the beloved comedy came together.
The interview is full of intriguing behind-the-scenes tidbits, including the fact that the story was originally set at a theme park, owing to the fact that Franks penned the first draft of the script while working at Disneyland. But it was originally titled Guy Gets Kid, which kind of makes it sound like a revenge movie about a man seeking payback against a child.

Both Friends and The Big Bang Theory have cemented their place in TV history among some of the most beloved sitcoms of all time. Starring ensemble casts, each show brought laughter, heart, and many memorable moments, following the lives of a close-knit group of friends navigating the ups and downs of everyday life.

Despite their unique storylines and character arcs, there remained a striking resemblance in their finales, as Kunal Nayyar’s Raj and Matt LeBlanc’s Joey found themselves alone at the end of their respective show, something fans still wish had been avoided.

Being recognized as the industry’s comedy giant, Adam Sandler brought us a number of guilty pleasure comedies that aren’t critics’ favorites at all. We bet you have seen at least one of them, like Happy Gilmore (1996), Click (2006) or Grown Ups (2010).
A 1999 cultish movie that has just been added to Netflix’s catalog also fell victim to critics’ judgment, but, nevertheless, it is loved by the actor’s fans and is considered to be even ‘the most Sandler’ comedy ever made.
The plot of this flick revolves around Sonny (Sandler), a slacker who is unaware of how to take responsibility on his shoulders. That is why his girlfriend breaks up with him, but he finds a way to prove himself, but rather a crazy one - he adopts a 5-year-old boy.
However, his ex doesn’t seem to be impressed, while the kid is clearly non-returnable. Therefore, Sonny tries...

Al Pacino is considered to be one of the greatest names ever to be working in front of the camera. He is often considered to be one of the most prestigious names; after all, he has an extensive collection of films that have been smash-hit blockbusters across his stellar career. From The Godfather to House of Gucci, Pacino has several iconic roles.

However, none of the movie connoisseurs had imagined in their wildest dreams that the Scent of a Woman actor could give a flop in his career. That thought became a reality in 2011, when he decided to collaborate with Adam Sandler on probably the weirdest film of his career.
Without a shadow of a doubt, everyone’s perspective on the actor changed, as they thought that he was nearing the end of his Hollywood stardom after 55 years.

Twenty-five years ago, Adam Sandler’s Big Daddy wiped the floor with the competition.
Sony released the comedy feature from director Dennis Dugan (Happy Gilmore) on June 25, 1999. The film opened to $41 million domestically en route to collecting $234 million globally ($442 million today) and holding the title as Sandler’s highest-grossing title domestically until Hotel Transylvania 2 in 2015.
Big Daddy centers on Sonny Koufax (Sandler), an unmotivated law school graduate who attempts to prove himself by adopting 5-year-old Julian (Cole and Dylan Sprouse) when the boy shows up at his doorstep. The cast includes Jon Stewart, Joey Lauren Adams, Rob Schneider and Leslie Mann.
During separate conversations with The Hollywood Reporter, producer Sid Ganis and writer Steve Franks (credited for the screenplay alongside Sandler and Tim Herlihy) discuss how Disneyland helped inspire the project and recall Chris Farley lobbying for the lead role. Gomez broke into mainstream fame after joining the cast of the highly successful series Wizards of Waverly Place, which paved the way for her to launch a successful music career and transition into a movie actress.

Rachel Dratch was smart to be nervous around Jimmy Fallon and Horatio Sanz. As immortalized in song by Andy Samberg and Adam Sandler at Saturday Night Live’s 40th birthday bash, Fallon and Sanz were notorious for their inability (or unwillingness) to keep a straight face during sketches. “These guys, they better not mess up my thing with cracking up,” Dratch remembered about her first Debbie Downer sketch in the oral history Live From New York.
Spoiler alert: Fallon and Sanz cracked up.
But they’re not the only ones. Here are the 10 craziest times that SNL sketches nearly got derailed by delirious laughter…
10 Super Showcase Spokesmodels
Bill Hader is in the SNL Crack-Up Hall of Fame, but he’s not the main culprit here. Super Spokesmodels Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph just can’t control themselves while driving a golf cart through a game show set.

Hailed as one of the most prestigious actors of the 20th century, Al Pacino has done copious blockbuster films throughout his career spanning over five decades. But who would’ve thought we’d get to see him go from playing chilling gangster roles to a comical coffee connoisseur? That’s right, nobody could’ve foreseen that plot twist.
Al Pacino in The Irishman (2019) | Netflix
Even industry juggernauts like The Godfather star aren’t immune to a few bad days at the cinemas (that’s code for flops), and his movie with Adam Sandler was one such out-of-the-pan-and-into-the-fire kind of collaboration. Save for the epic commercial that perhaps echos one of the greatest moments in cinema history.
Al Pacino’s Dunkin’ Donuts Commercial Was Peak Cinema
Adam Sandler might be a comedic genius but Jack and Jill certainly didn’t make it to the list of ‘most hilarious movies of all time.

Say this for Saturday Night Live — if performers don’t have the goods, they don’t stick around for long. A number of talented comics didn’t get asked back for even a second season, including future stars Sarah Silverman, Jenny Slate and Ben Stiller. But just because comics are good enough to earn multiple seasons doesn’t mean they can’t overstay their welcome. Here are four SNL performers who milked the show for all it was worth…

There is a unique charm and allure to college football that you just don’t get from watching the NFL. Yes, people still bet on college football lines but there isn’t the same level of pressure or financial burden on college sports which just makes it that little bit purer and more wholesome.
As does the fact that the youngsters playing the game aren’t weighed down by years of expectations. Instead they’re eagerly chasing their dreams and enjoying every minute of playing a sport that they love.
It’s no wonder then, that the world of college football has spawned so many wholesome and engaging movies and TV series. Here are a few that we think are worthy of your time…

Exclusive: K.J. Apa (Riverdale) has entered production in the UK on Falling, a new romantic comedy-drama from Gulfstream Pictures.
The project marks Apa’s third with Gulfstream, on the heels of the motorcycle racing pic One Fast Move, which premieres on Prime Video August 8, and the rom-com The Last Summer for Netflix.
Written and directed by Colin Krisel and James Krisel (Last Moment of Clarity), Falling centers on Jack (Apa), who while quick-witted, charming, and avoidant, finally risks opening his heart when he starts dating Jillian. He never expected, though, that his best friend Johnny would fall for her, too.
Gulfstream is producing and fully financing in association with Luber Roklin Entertainment, having previously teamed with the company to produce One Fast Move. Producers include Mike Karz and Bill Bindley of Gulfstream Pictures, Lena Roklin and Matt Luber of Luber Roklin, and Piers Tempest of Tempo Productions. Apa, Tom Salentine,...

Over a decade ago, the star-studded Grown-Ups cast gave audiences one of Adam Sandler’s best comedies of his career.
