A woman who claims Marilyn Manson groomed and sexually assaulted her multiple times in the 1990s – starting when she was still a minor – is speaking publicly for the first time. In a new statement released Monday, the woman says she felt “empowered” to step forward with her full identity after a recent ruling in one of her two lawsuits against the shock rocker filed in New York and Louisiana.

The Rolling Stones and Marilyn Manson are very different artists, but they both aesthetically allude to Satanism. The Rolling Stones used devilish imagery multiple times, while Manson is a Satanist. In his autobiography, the “Antichrist Superstar” singer said a lyric from one Rolling Stones song could have been his motto. That’s debatable!
Marilyn Manson named the Satanic Rolling Stones song that could’ve been his credo
Manson is the most famous living member of the Church of Satan. In his 1998 book The Long Hard Road Out of Hell, Manson discussed his place within the religion. “No mainstream rock musician has advocated Satanism in any lucid, intelligent, accessible way since perhaps The Rolling Stones, who in ‘Monkey Man’ came up with a line that could have been my credo, ‘Well I hope we’re not too messianic / Or a trifle too Satanic,'” he said. “The day I became a...

The world should value consent. However, Madonna‘s “Erotica” was banned from MTV for depicting consensual roleplay. The Queen of Pop had a surprising reaction to this development. One of the musicians behind Madonna’s album Erotica also had some perceptive things to say about the controversy.
Madonna’s ‘Erotica’ was pulled from MTV for being ‘repellent’
Madonna’s music video for “Erotica” looks like a rediscovered print of a black-and-white silent film about the Folsom Street Fair. It’s grainy, disorientingly edited, and niche in a way that’s generally anathema to a mass-market pop offering. The video has a lot of images that nobody would want to watch with their grandma. The Material Girl had previously explored Bdsm in her music videos for “Express Yourself” and “Justify My Love,” but she took things to a new level of explicitness with “Erotica.” After all, the music video had to...

Classic rock star Marilyn Manson has not released a new song since 2020 and since then, fans have speculated that he became Christian. Yesterday, he teased a track on his YouTube channel with a spooky clip. The snippet of new music in the clip has an interesting similarity to one of his most famous songs. It should also get rid of any pesky rumors that Manson is following Jesus.
Marilyn Manson’s new song recalls ‘Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)’
Manson’s band released its debut album, Portrait of an American Family, in 1994. However, they didn’t become household names until 1995, when Manson covered the Eurythmics’ “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This).” The cover’s mix of old and new, as well as its terrifyingly chaotic music video, broke the band into the mainstream.

Marilyn Manson has signed a record deal with the metal label Nuclear Blast, and apparently is set to release his first new music since a number of sexual abuse allegations essentially put a halt to his career. The embattled shock rocker teased a one-minute snippet of new song on his social channels.
The snippet was also shared by Nuclear Blast, with a rep confirming to Rolling Stone that the label has indeed inked a deal with Manson. No song title has been revealed but the audio clip features Manson whispering the line, “Keep sleeping/ I’ll make you dream of me.”
In February 2021, Manson’s ex-fiancée Evan Rachel Wood went public with accusations against the rock star, declaring, “He started grooming me when I was a teenager and horrifically abused me for years.”

The artist and personal assistant who claims Marilyn Manson whipped her, threw plates at her and sexually assaulted her received a trial date Tuesday for her previously dismissed lawsuit that was revived on appeal.
Ashley Walters is now scheduled to face Manson, whose legal name is Brian Warner, at a jury trial set to begin June 2, 2025, a Los Angeles County judge ruled. The judge ordered the trial after Walters’ lawyer, James Vagnini, told the court that the parties were “not successful at resolving the case” during a mediation last December.

For years, people have “heard grumblings and whispers” — as #MeToo founder Tarana Burke puts it — about the questionable behavior of Sean “Diddy” Combs.
“But I think the question,” Burke adds, “was there ever going to be any level of accountability?”
Five months ago, Combs’ life dramatically changed. Singer Cassie, the music mogul’s former partner and a recording artist, sued him for sexual assault and said he repeatedly raped and physically abused her for nearly a decade; they reached a settlement two days later. But subsequent lawsuits from more women followed with claims of rape and sexual assault, and in February producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones — who worked on Combs’ recent Grammy-nominated album — accused the entrepreneur of harassing and trafficking him. Christian Combs, the entertainer’s 26-year-old son, has been accused of sex assault in a lawsuit filed this week that also listed 54-year-old Combs as a defendant, multiple outlets reported.

A song from The Beatles‘ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band is so old-fashioned it could have come out during the Victorian era. One of The Beatles’ rock ‘n’ roll peers said that he couldn’t have written the song because he had no sense of time. Regardless, that singer’s tunes have lasted over the course of generations.
Donovan on why Paul McCartney wrote a song from The Beatles’ ‘Sgt. Pepper’
One of The Beatles’ fellow British Invasion stars was Donovan. He contributed to psychedelia as much as they did with hits such as “Sunshine Superman,” “Atlantis, and “Hurdy Gurdy Man.” Donovan also accompanied the Fab Four on their fateful trip to India to meet the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and learn about Transcendental Meditation.
During a 2013 interview with BusinessLive, Donovan discussed his own sense of time. “One couldn’t remember last Tuesday or think about next Tuesday,” he said,...

Paul McCartney said The Beatles’ “Helter Skelter” used a metaphor to portray the rise and fall of the Roman Empire. He also said that The Who influenced the song indirectly. One of these claims is easier to swallow than the other. Regardless, “Helter Skelter” still inspired one of the most infamous cults of all time.
A review and the Roman Empire inspired The Beatles’ ‘Helter Skelter’
In the 1997 book Paul McCartney: Many Years From Now, Paul recalled writing “Helter Skelter.” He said he read a review of The Who’s “I Can See for Miles,” which described the song as the loudest and dirtiest entry in the band’s catalog. “I was always trying to write something different, trying to not write in character, and I read this and I was inspired, ‘Oh, wow! Yeah! Just that one little paragraph was enough to inspire me, to make me make a move.

Exclusive: Fifth Season is selling more than $1B worth of Apple TV+ content including Jason Momoa-starrer See, Nicole Kidman’s Roar and M. Night Shyamalan’s Servant at the London TV Screenings.
Prentiss Fraser, Fifth Season’s president of TV distribution, said the move realizes the outfit’s long-term strategy of landing big streamer shows that can then be sold in their second window to smaller buyers.
She said there is “little crossover” between Apple TV+ subscribers and regular linear broadcast viewers in crucial territories, which highlights the opportunities for second window. The UK, for example, is estimated to have around 2 million Apple TV+ subs – just 3% of the population.

This time last year, Jonathan Majors was a star on the rise.
A graduate of Yale's drama school, Majors had a handful of major credits to his name, including HBO's Lovecraft Country, the blockbuster Rocky spinoff Creed III, and the critically acclaimed indie film The Last Black Man In San Francisco.
It was an impressive resume for a star in his early thirties -- and the best was yet to come (at least from a monetary standpoint).
Majors made headlines when signed on to play Kang the Conqueror in a slate of Marvel Cinematic Universe projects.
It was a deal that had the potential to take him from "well off" to "private island wealthy."
But in March of 2023, Majors' life was instantly turned upside down.
Fans were horrified by the downfall of an artist whom many regarded as one of the great actors of our generation.

On one level, Elvis Presley‘s “(You’re the) Devil in Disguise” is a light, fun pop song. On another level, it’s a Christian sermon disguised as a fun pop song. The track has parallels to some famous passages of the Bible. After all, Saint Paul himself believed that the devil could take on different forms in order to deceive people.
Elvis Presley’s ‘(You’re the) Devil in Disguise’ recalls a biblical warning
Unlike a lot of heavy metal songs that came after it, “(You’re the) Devil in Disguise” is not literally about the devil. It’s about a woman who appears angelic at first before the narrator realizes that she’s devilish. The lyrics echo 2 Corinthians 11: 13-15, where Paul the Apostle warns the early Christian community about deceivers in their midst.
“People are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ,” he wrote. “And no wonder,...

Azealia Banks is one of the most controversial rappers who ever lived. So maybe it’s no surprise she once praised John Lennon’s most offensive song. The tune proved offensive even at the time, and some radio stations didn’t want to play it, irrespective of John’s progressive intentions.

John Lennon said a song from The Beatles’ The White Album has some social commentary. It’s also supposed to be a joke. Is it a funny joke? Well, that’s a dicey question to look at all these years later.
John Lennon said a song from The Beatles’ ‘White Album’ was inspired by tigers’ deaths
The book All We Are Saying: The Last Major Interview with John Lennon and Yoko Ono features an interview from 1980. In it, John was asked about “The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill.”
“Oh, that was written about a guy in Maharishi’s meditation camp who took a short break to go shoot a few poor tigers, and then came back to commune with God,” John recalled.
“There used to be a character called Jungle Jim and I combined him with Buffalo Bill. It’s a sort of teenage social-comment song and a bit of a joke.

A judge has ordered that Marilyn Manson must pay Evan Rachel Wood‘s legal fees for her defense against his defamation lawsuit against her — the bulk of which was previously tossed out.
Manson will foot the $326,956 bill for Wood’s defense against the defamation and emotional distress claims that were struck from his lawsuit last year. The order came down from Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Teresa A. Beaudet at a hearing on Monday (January 29th), as reported by Rolling Stone.
The same judge dismissed much of the case last May. Manson’s defamation suit followed the actress’ claims of abuse during the one-time couple’s relationship from 2007 to 2010 — claims that were protected by the First Amendment and California’s anti-slapp law and its protections on individual free speech, according to the judge.
Judge Beaudet did trim off $60k from Wood’s reimbursement claims, stating that some descriptions for billed hours were too “vague.

One of the ghostwriter’s most valuable skills is getting their subjects to talk. So, when I gathered L.A.’s most successful ghostwriters at the Formosa Cafe to gossip, they knew all my tricks. In desperation, I went with the most transparent of all reporting techniques — buying them all fruity cocktails.
A reputation for discretion is not only how they get work, but how they avoid getting sued; they sign nondisclosure agreements for every memoir they write. But even if they revealed nothing scandalous about their famous clients — or at least nothing that couldn’t be discovered with a Google search — I learned a lot about the curious craft of ghostwriting and the types of personalities drawn to help famous people tell their life stories. During the episode, Ozzy Osbourne asked Sharon, his wife, about the festival. “Not just one [at] the fucking Forum, but a whole Ozzfest?” he inquired. “Yeah, sure,” Sharon replied. “Of course.”

One of The Onion’s classic headlines reads: “Marilyn Manson Now Going Door-To-Door Trying To Shock People.” The satirical article, published in 2001, was a devastating blow to a musician whose career consisted of dressing like a lunatic and screaming profane lyrics. Once you shine a light on it, the shtick becomes embarrassing quickly.
That headline came to mind when reading a tweet Ricky Gervais posted in the days before the release of his new Netflix special, “Armageddon”: “In this show, I talk about sex, death, pedophilia, race, religion, disability, free speech, global warming, the holocaust and Elton John. If you don’t approve of jokes about any of these things, then please don’t watch. You won’t enjoy it and you’ll get upset.”

Marilyn Manson‘s former assistant, Ashley Walters, won an appeal that would bring back a dismissed sexual assault lawsuit she brought against the singer in 2021.
A tribunal with California’s Second Appellate District sided with Walters and reversed a lower court ruling, ordering that the case be sent back to the judge for trial.
According to the court filings, Walters declared that Manson had forced her hand into his underpants. She alleges that he also whipped her, pushed her into a wall and made her stay awake for 48 hours straight.
The filings claim that Manson offered Walters up sexually to associates and friends. He even instructed her to stand on a chair for 12 hours and fed her cocaine so that she would not fall asleep.
There are more accusations mentioned in the filings in addition to these.
Walters claims that Manson often relied on threatening behavior, including blackmail, to keep her quiet.

A California appeals court has revived a sexual assault lawsuit against Marilyn Manson involving his former assistant Ashley Walters.
On Wednesday (December 13th), California’s Second Appellate District ruled that Walters — Manson’s assistant from 2010 to 2011 — can sue the musician for sexual assault, overturning an earlier decision that stated Walters waited to long to file the initial lawsuit.
A lower court ruled last year that Walters’ case was barred by the statute of limitations, which requires the case to be filed within two years. However, the appeals court ruled that the case was still viable under California’s “Delayed Discovery” rule, which accounts for suppressed memories due to trauma. The judge of the original hearing had previously said there were not “sufficient facts” to invoke the Delayed Discovery rule.
Walters’ lawsuit claims that she was subjected her to “sexual exploitation, manipulation and psychological abuse” by Manson while she worked as his personal assistant.

The Beatles gave us cult classic movies like Yellow Submarine and Help! It’s only fitting that John Lennon’s favorite movie was a cult classic Western. The movie in question is one of the most bizarre Westerns ever made. Fascinatingly, the director of the film said multiple rock stars connected with his work.
John Lennon loved a cult classic Western movie with a heavy dose of mysticism
Alejandro Jodorowsky is a surrealist filmmaker whose movies are like Salvador Dalí paintings come to life. According to Wired, John’s favorite movie was Jodorowsky’s mystical Western El Topo. The film is about an outlaw called El Topo (Spanish for “The Mole”) who becomes a holy man in a landscape filled with Judeo-Christian and occult imagery.
During a 2011 interview with Interviews with Icons, Jodorowsky discussed John’s relationship with the film. “I was lucky because of rock ‘n’ roll,” explained Jodorowsky.

Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose has been sued for an alleged sexual assault that occurred in 1989.
In the lawsuit filed in New York City on Wednesday (November 22nd), former Penthouse model Sheila Kennedy claims that Rose “violently” raped her after the two met at a night club. She says that Rose invited her and former MTV host, Riki Rachtman, to his New York hotel room, where he gave them alcohol and cocaine. Kennedy eventually became “uncomfortable” when the musician began aggressively having sex with another model in front of Kennedy, encouraging her to engage in group sex.
The complaint states that Kennedy and Rachtman then left the hotel room, which made Rose “furious” and prompted him to “loom threateningly.” After finding Kennedy in Rachtman’s hotel room, Rose allegedly pushed Kennedy to the ground and dragged her by her hair...

Actress-singer Shruti Haasan’s latest single ‘Monster Machine’ is nothing like her other musical endeavours. A hard edged, industrial rock track, the song, is an edgy and trippy celebration of the misfit attitude.
Given the actress’ fondness for rock music, the song is filled with a rebel punk style attitude something similar to hardcore punk bands such as Suicidal Tendencies, Misfits or Black Flag.
However, the music is more similar to something that came out of the popular industrial rock/metal band Nine Inch Nails, as ‘Monster Machine’ employs the use of a lot of artificial mechanical drums, synthesisers, samples while coating the heavy guitar riffs with electronic samples.
Filled with some weirdly trippy footage, on one hand it shows Shruti on the set of a film donning an eloquent lehenga, while on the other cuts to her going all punk rock mode, wearing black clothes and brandishing a hammer.

Earlier this week singer Marilyn Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner, reached a settlement with an ex-girlfriend who accused him of rape. The woman, identified only as “Jane Doe,” filed her suit in 2021 — the pair were set to face off in court next week. On Wednesday, Jane Doe’s attorney Adam Wolf filed a notice of settlement in Los Angeles.
Manson’s attorney Howard King commented, “Brian is pleased that, just as previous lawsuits were abandoned without payment or settled for pennies on the dollar, this plaintiff has now agreed to drop her suit in exchange for an insurance payment representing a fraction of her demands and far less than the cost to Brian of proceeding to trial.”
Doe issued her own statement to Rolling Stone and explained why she dropped the suit: “threats, bullying, harassment and various forms of intimidation that have intensified over the past few weeks.

Marilyn Manson blowing his nose on a camerawoman isn’t the most abhorrent act he’s been associated with, but it was enough for a New Hampshire judge to sentence him to 20 hours of community service and a $1,400 fine on Monday. The punishment stemmed from a 2019 incident when the rocker was charged with two misdemeanor counts of simple assault for spitting and blowing his nose on the videographer Susan Fountain at a concert.
The judge described Manson’s actions as “egregious” while saying Manson could complete his community service in California.

Directed by Michael Chavis, a Conjuring veteran who previously helmed the entries The Curse of La Llorona and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (how was that last one not a parody?), this 1956-set installment once again features Taissa Farmiga as Sister Irene,...
