Patricia Ellen Lee was born to mother, Alice, and father, Ben, in
Texas. Shortly thereafter, the family moved to Florida where Patricia -
the only girl on her block who read "Famous Monsters of Filmland"
magazine - won the second place trophy in the Woolworth's Monster
Model-making contest. The movie-making bug bit Patricia early on and
she began making short 16mm films while attending Miami Beach Senior
High. Shortly after graduating from high school, she attended the
Cornell University Film Production Studio where she worked on the
experimental feature, "Branches". Patricia then segued to Boston
University where she made Dean's List and directed two more short
films. Finally, Patricia landed at U.S.C. Film School (reality ends
there) where she directed six more shorts, shot one, and edited two
more before graduating Cum Laude. Pat picked up her "post-graduate"
degree in editing at the "school of" Producer Roger Corman before
joining the Motion Picture Editors Guild and becoming a freelance
assistant editor. Sometime thereafter, Patricia established Esq.
Management and became a Talent Agent specializing in the representation
of Editors, Production Designers, Directors of Photography, and, other
talented Film and Television professionals.
