Rick Rose was most recently working as a Previsualisation editor for two high budget studio properties (a feature and streaming series) for Framestore, in London, England. He is best known for his editing work in animation, most notably on Season 5 of Bubble Guppies (Nick Jr), the production services / workflow editor on Final Space Season 2 (TBS), as well as cutting dozens of animatics for Rusty Rivets (Nick Jr.) and Kody Kapow (NBC/ Universal Kids).
In the realm of reality television, Rick has worked both as an assistant editor, then as an editor for Alaska PD Seasons 1 and 2. He has also edited on multiple episodes of Frozen Gold for The Weather Network.
Rick has edited behind the scenes content for When Calls the Heart (Hallmark), live music videos for Cypress Hill, Charles Bradley, As I Lay Dying and various music festivals. He has also edited over 50 scripted videos (commercials, promotional, industrial, testimonials).
Rick directed and edited Unforgotten (2010), a dance piece funded by Bravo!FACT. It won the Platinum Remi Award for Performance Arts at the 2011 Houston International Film Festival, premiered at the prestigious 2010 Montreal World Film Festival, and screened at the 2011 Newport Beach Film Festival in Southern California. Rick directed the Toronto Premiere of Rabbit Hole, the 2007 Pulitzer Prize winning play. It received a 4 Star rating from Now Magazine and voted "Critic's Pick" of the Toronto Fringe Festival.
Rick lives in London, England with his wife and two dogs and has previously lived in New York City, and Toronto, Canada.
