You can’t keep Invincible down, as Prime Video has renewed the animated superhero series for a fourth season. Additionally, they have also renewed Sausage Party: Foodtopia for a second season and renewed Hazbin Hotel for a third and fourth season.
Based on the comic series by Robert Kirkman (The Walking Dead), Invincible follows Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun), the son of an extraterrestrial superhero known as Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons). Mark later inherits his father’s abilities, including great strength, flight, speed, and some invulnerability, and becomes the superhero known as Invincible. He also discovers that his father’s race, the Viltrumites, doesn’t exactly have peaceful intentions toward Earth. In addition to Steven Yeun and J.K. Simmons, Invincible also features the voices of Sandra Oh, Seth Rogen, Gillian Jacobs, Andrew Rannells, Zazie Beetz, Mark Hamill, Walton Goggins, Jason Mantzoukas, Mae Whitman, and more.

Eight years after the release of Sausage Party, Seth Rogen is revisiting the world of talking food with new series Sausage Party: Foodtopia.
The show follows up the war against humans that took place in the film, as hot dog Frank (voiced by Rogen, who is also an executive producer) and his grocery store friends establish a safe haven that quickly goes awry. Kristen Wiig, Michael Cera, David Krumholtz and Edward Norton reprise their voice roles, with Will Forte, Natasha Rothwell, Sam Richardson and Yassir Lester among the new additions.
“We always hoped to do more, honestly,” Rogen told The Hollywood Reporter at the Los Angeles premiere on Wednesday. “We kept thinking about it, we kept making jokes about it; it was a thing we kind of never stopped talking about and never stopped enjoying the idea of.”

The sprawling MCU not only includes the movies, but also a plethora of TV series, a fact which may have only come to mainstream attention in recent years due to the release of projects such as Loki, WandaVision, and What If…?

However, the more enlightened fans will know that the MCU’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was arguably the first TV series from the franchise that was met by fans with appreciation. The upcoming MCU film, Armor Wars, will adapt elements from one of the most interesting Iron Man storylines in Marvel Comics. The Armor Wars comic was earlier adapted to the MCU in Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man 2 and Iron Man 3. The upcoming MCU film will continue the narratives of these films, where Don Cheadle’s James Rhodes will be tasked with stopping evil forces from appropriating Tony’s legacy suits.

However, fans are worried that the film would destroy Downey Jr.’s character arc in the MCU by revisiting the plot point without him. Sausage Party sequel series Foodtopia is heading to Prime Video next month, spinning out from the original film. Trailer here.
Much of the hype surrounding Sausage Party upon its release in 2015 seemed to focus on the fact that a lewd, crude animated film was making its way to cinemas, as there had been a dearth of such films in the mainstream for quite a long time. Directed by Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan and written by Seth Rogan, Evan Goldberg, Kyle Hunter and Ariel Shaffer, the plot followed the anthropomorphic grocery items in a supermarket, as they dream of being sold and moving to ‘The Great Beyond’ only to be horrified when they discover they will be eaten.
The film proved popular at the box office, making over $140 million on a budget of $19 million. Inevitably, this meant that it was only a matter of time before a sequel was produced,...

The “Sausage Party” TV-series spinoff “Foodtopia” is kind of like Seth Rogen’s warped, food-based version of Francis Ford Coppola’s “Megalopolis.”
Based off the 2016 animated feature, the upcoming Prime Video series “Sausage Party: Foodtopia” follows returning characters Frank, Brenda, Barry, and Sammy as they try to build their own food society. It’s a…bit less sophisticated than Coppola’s.
The infamously raunchy food-centric “Sausage Party” whipped up a bit of a stir with its original theatrical release. Now, almost a decade later, the Prime Video series features returning original cast members Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Michael Cera, David Krumholtz, and Edward Norton, along with newcomers Will Forte, Sam Richardson, Natasha Rothwell, and Yassir Lester.
The eight-episode first season hails from Annapurna Television, Sony Pictures Television, and Amazon MGM Studios. The original film was a co-production between Columbia Pictures and Great Beyond.

The MCU currently has numerous projects in development, both movies and shows, despite Iger’s announcement that their creative output will significantly decrease to 2-3 movies and 2 live-action shows per year.

Rumour has it Black Panther and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever director Ryan Coogler is being eyed to helm both Black Panther 3 and Marvel Studios' eventual X-Men reboot.
It's an exciting prospect given what a talent the filmmaker is, but one The DisInsider may have thrown cold water on. According to the site, Coogler is on a shortlist to helm both Avengers 5 and Avengers: Secret Wars.
While the post's author believes he'd likely direct only one of them, they also suggest the director could pass the reigns of Black Panther 3 to someone else to focus on Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
Still, we'd bet on Marvel Studios wanting a single filmmaker for the next Avengers movies as, like Infinity War and Endgame, they could then be shot back-to-back (surely a necessity when they're being released only one year apart).
We'll see what happens, but Coogler directing Avengers 5 oder Avengers: Secret Wars...

If watching animated food items getting it on tickles your funny bone, we have some good news: Prime Video's Sausage Party sequel series, Foodtopia, has announced a premiere date.
The "hole season" (see what they did there?), which will continue the adventure of the various sentient groceries we met in 2016's R-rated hit, will be available to stream of Prime from July 11.
We're still waiting on a trailer, but an unsurprisingly crude first poster has been released featuring the characters holding up a... yeah, this doesn't really need an explanation, does it?
Check out the artwork at the link below, and let us know what you think in the comments section.

The Simu Liu starrer Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings was one of the most successful films in the recent past for the MCU. Earning more than $430 million during the pandemic, the film was lauded for its representation and action sequences. A sequel has been greenlit but there have been no new developments regarding its release.
The post credit scene of Shang-Chi shows Xu Xialing, the sister of Shang-Chi heading the Ten Rings and restarting the training, including women this time in the organization. A recent tweet revealed that the scene would directly lead to the upcoming MCU film Armor Wars, which sees several secret organizations try to steal Tony Stark’s technology.

Marvel Studios has a lineup of projects slated for release or development in the coming years. While progress on most of these projects is clear, one movie has been stuck in development limbo for quite some time, with only sporadic updates emerging. We’re referring to the War Machine movie, ‘Armor Wars.’
‘Armor Wars’ was initially envisioned as a film based on the comic storyline of the same name. It was intended to serve as a sequel to ‘Secret Invasion’ (released last year) and ‘Ironheart’ (whose release date is currently unknown). As far back as 2011, Don Cheadle confirmed the development of a War Machine film, with Joe Robert Cole brought on board to pen the script.
Nine years later, during Disney’s 2020 Investor Day, it was revealed that the ‘Armor Wars’ TV series is in the works for Disney+, with Don Cheadle reprising his role as James Rhodes. In 2021, Cheadle...

Marvel Studios has plenty of projects scheduled either to be released or developed in the next few years. And while for most of the projects, it’s clear at which stage they are currently at one movie has been in development hell for several years now, with mostly bits and pieces coming to light. Of course, we’re talking about War Machine’s movie ‘Armor Wars.’
‘Armor Wars’ was imagined to be a movie based on the comic storyline of the same name, and it was supposed to be a sequel to Secret Invasion (released last year) and Ironheart (unknown release date at the moment). Back in 2011, Don Cheadle confirmed that a War Machine film was in development, and Joe Rober Cole had been hired to write it.

The 2024 SXSW Film & TV Festival has unveiled its full lineup ahead of the March 8 opening night.
Taking place in Austin, Texas from March 8 through 16, the annual festival has announced its Headliner films including Dev Patel’s directorial debut “Monkey Man,” “Immaculate” starring Sydney Sweeney, and “SNL” alum Kyle Mooney’s comedy “Y2K.” These join the previously announced lineup of titles.
"Monkey Man” stars writer/director Patel as Kid, an anonymous man who seeks revenge against the government leaders who murdered his mother. Oscar winner Jordan Peele produces the feature and moved the project from Netflix to Universal, reportedly so the movie could have a theatrical release.
Nun horror movie “Immaculate,” from Neon, reunites actress/producer Sweeney with her “The Voyeurs” director Michael Mohan.

Marvel Studios has a myriad of projects either scheduled for release or in development over the next few years. Amidst the progress of most of these projects, one film, ‘Armor Wars,’ has lingered in development for several years, revealing only fragments of its status.
Originally envisioned as a movie based on the comic storyline of the same name, ‘Armor Wars’ was slated to be a sequel to Secret Invasion (released last year) and Ironheart (release date unknown). In 2011, Don Cheadle confirmed the development of a War Machine film, with Joe Rober Cole hired as the writer. In August 2021, Yassir Lester became the head writer for the series.

Just how twisted is the new “Sausage Party” sequel series? Even star Kristen Wiig is shocked by it.
The upcoming “Sausage Party: Foodtopia” series is set to premiere on Prime Video in 2024, with original voice actors Wiig, Seth Rogen, Michael Cera, David Krumholtz, and Edward Norton all returning for more tasty fun. The cast is rounded out by franchise newcomers Will Forte, Sam Richardson, Natasha Rothwell, and Yassir Lester.
Creator Rogen recently revealed to Empire magazine that “Foodtopia” is even crazier than the 2016 adult animated film. “We had Kristen Wiig in picking up a few lines the other day, and I think we’ve all become desentised to it, because we’ll just be like, ‘Roll the scene!’, and then she was like, ‘Oh my God?! This is insane!,'” Rogen recalled.

Seth Rogen is teasing the Sausage Party sequel series and talking about an “unbelievably shocking” scene that even caught co-star Kristen Wiig off guard.
“There’s one specific scene that had a special screening for the Amazon PR people,” Rogen told Empire magazine about Sausage Party: Foodtopia. “‘You should all just start wrapping your heads around this now. You’ll probably have to talk about this a lot.'”
He continued, “We had Kristen Wiig in picking up a few lines the other day, and I think we’ve all become desensitized to it because we’ll just be like, ‘Roll the scene!’, and then she was like, ‘Oh my God?! This is insane!'”

Don Cheadle had to block out the white noise when it came to joining the MCU.
The Oscar nominee was cast as the replacement for Terrence Howard’s character Lt. James Rhodes (aka War Machine) in the “Iron Man” sequel. Cheadle went on to appear in seven Marvel movies, plus the Disney+ series “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” and “What If…?.”
Yet, Cheadle is now revealing how he committed to the MCU before “Iron Man 2” in 2010.
“I was at my kid’s laser tag birthday party. They called me and said, ‘This is what’s happening and we’re giving you the offer. If you don’t say yes then we’re going to the next person. This is going to happen very fast,'” Cheadle recalled to GQ. “‘Why don’t you take an hour and decide if you want to do it.'”

The single-camera Fox comedy follows “a group of local Animal Control workers whose lives are complicated by the fact that animals are simple, but humans are not,” according to the official logline. Hold on to your buns, because "Sausage Party" is back! Prime Video has announced an order for a new animated series called "Sausage Party: Foodtopia," based on the feature of the same name featuring anthropomorphic foodstuffs in a grocery store with foul mouths, big dreams, and sex drives rivaling a teenager discovering internet tube sites for the first time. We called the film "raunchy, raw, and one of the most outrageous, funniest movies of the year," in our review back in 2016, and we definitely weren't alone. Not only was "Sausage Party" the first 3D computer-animated film to be rated R by the Motion Picture Association of America, but it became the highest-grossing R-rated animated film until it was surpassed by "Demon Slayer: Mugen Train" in 2020. The film was so extreme, it had to be heavily edited to avoid an Nc-17 rating, which only added to the film's mystique.

A series based on the dark animated comedy “Sausage Party” has been ordered at Amazon Prime Video.
Titled “Sausage Party: Foodtopia,” the series will feature the return of several original cast members from the 2016 adult animated film, including Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Michael Cera, David Krumholtz, and Edward Norton. Armor Wars is not headed to after all, at least not as originally envisioned. Disney+ first announced the series in December 2020. and it was to star Don Cheadle reprising his role as US Air Force officer James Rhodes aka War Machine from the Iron Man and Avengers feature films. The series' plot revolves around the fallout of Tony Stark's tech falling into the wrong hands.
Yassir Lester, whose writing credits include Cheadle's Black Monday series on Showtime, was hired as head writer in August 2021. He reportedly excited executives and Cheadle after he pitched them his ideas for the show.
Now comes word that Armor Wars will be a movie instead of a six-episode TV series.

Marvel’s upcoming Disney+ Armor Wars is a series no longer. The studio has shaken things up by announcing it will now be a feature instead of the originally planned six-episode show. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series will be redeveloped into a movie. Unfortunately, this also means the project will be pushed further down the development timeline. (Credit: Marvel Studios/Disney) Don Cheadle is set to reprise his role as Colonel James “Rhodey” Rhodes, Aka War Machine — which he has played since 2010’s Iron Man 2. So, bad news. It looks like we will no longer be getting an "Armor Wars" series on Disney+. Not to fear, though, because it will now be developed into a feature-length film. The Hollywood Reporter revealed that plans for the series have been reworked, with its head writer Yassir Lester remaining as the film's screenwriter.
According to sources familiar with the project, executives at Marvel Studios wanted to ensure that the story was being told the right way, and that eventually, the best way seemed to be as a movie. This doesn't sound like a bad idea, especially since it will give star Don Cheadle his very first headlining film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It's really about time, considering how integral his character of James "Rhodey" Rhodes is to the franchise.

Marvel Studios is giving a major redesign to “Armor Wars,” shifting it from a six-episode streaming series on Disney+ to a feature film for theaters, Disney has confirmed to TheWrap.
Yassir Lester, who was hired as showrunner for the series, will stay on as screenwriter for the film. The film is still in search of a director.
First announced during Disney’s Investor Day presentation in late 2020, “Armor Wars” will star Don Cheadle as Tony Stark’s closest friend, Col. James “Rhodey” Rhodes, a.k.a. War Machine. Based on a seven-issue “Iron Man” comic series published in 1987, Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige described “Armor Wars” as Rhodey dealing with “Tony Stark’s worst nightmare” as the armor technology he used to create Iron Man falls into the wrong hands.

Marvel’s “Armor Wars,” originally planned as a TV series for Disney+, is being redeveloped as a feature film, Variety has learned.
"Armor Wars” will star Don Cheadle, reprising his MCU role of James “Rhodey” Rhodes, a.k.a. War Machine. The project is based on Marvel Comics’ seven-issue arc of the same name within the story of Iron Man, and follows Rhodes as he must face what happens when Tony Stark’s tech falls into the wrong hands.

During Disney’s 2020 Investor Day, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige announced several new Marvel Cinematic Universe TV shows, including Armor Wars. The six-episode series would find Don Cheadle reprising his role of James Rhodes/War Machine, but it appears that the show is now headed to the big screen. THR has reported that Marvel Studios are now developing Armor Wars as a movie instead.
Sources told THR that Marvel “was committed in getting the story told the right way and in that process realized that a feature was better suited for the project.” Production on the Armor Wars series was looking to kick off sometime next year, but with the project transforming into a movie, it’s expected that the schedule will be pushed back. Yassir Lester (Black Monday) was serving as the head writer on the series and will remain onboard to pen the movie. No director has been signed yet.
