Juan Andres Otalora is a Grammy award-winning arranger, film composer and guitarist from Colombia. Following a successful 8 year run as a session guitarist Juan relocated to Los Angeles in 2010 to attend the USC Scoring for Motion Pictures and TV Program. Since then he has undertaken projects as both composer and arranger in both popular music and film. He has worked for composer Joel Mcneely in projects such as American Dad and Dinsey's Tinkerbell franchise.
In 2014 Juan arranged and produced Sinfonico with Fonseca and the Colombian Symphony Orchestra (OSNC) which won a Latin Grammy for "Best Contemporary Pop Vocal Album" and was nominated for "Album of the Year", receiving a Latin Grammy as producer. Juan attended the acclaimed ASCAP 2015 Film Composer Workshop and since then has scored several shorts and features including "Lila's Book" as part of his on going collaboration with the OSNC. Juan is currently working alongside composer Jake Monaco on the DreamWorks Animation/Netflix series Dinotrux.
