[a blue macaw eats the whole box of mints and starts choking]
Blu : Oh, no, no, no, no, not the whole box! Get that... out of your... mouth!
[he gets the box of mints out of the blue macaw's throat]
Eduardo : What is this doing here? What's going on?
Additional Voices : We found them flying too close to the humans
Eduardo : What? And who are you?
Blu : Uh...
Eduardo : Uh is not an appropriate answer. I asked you a question. Where did you come from?
Jewel : [lJewel gets defensive against Eduardo] Hey! Back off!
Eduardo : Hey, excuse me young, lady.

Eduardo : How is this?
Jewel : When the loggers came there was fire, and so much smoke.
Eduardo : I had you under my wing and then you were...

[lJewel hugs Eduardo]
Blu : Daddy?
Jewel : I missed you

Eduardo : [Before swooping onto the loggers] Lead the way, Blu.
Blu : [Overjoyed at his father in law saying his correct name] Ah...! That's my name! Yes... I am Blu!
[Eduardo a-hums him]
Blu : Oh, right... Birds of blue feathers...!
Jewel , Tiago , Carla , Bia , Roberto : [Joined by the entire flock] ... Have to stick sogether!

Jewel : [On learning her husband is facing the loggers solo] No, daddy, I'm not going with you.
Eduardo : You have to go! I will not put my family in danger!
Jewel : Blu is my family. And I'm not leaving him behind!
Blu : [from off-screen] You don't have to.
Jewel : [Touches her beak with his] Are you okay?
Blu : [Looks to his father in law] Look. Eduardo, I may not be the bird-iest bird in the flock... but for once that's a good thing! You know the jungle... I know humans. And I know that together we can defeat them!
[Carla, Bia and Tiago fly to hug Jewel]
Blu : We can't let them take our home. Sure it's hot and loud and filled with creepy bugs.
[Looks to Carla, Bia and Tiago who are hugging to Jewel]
Blu : But it's ours. Let's fight. Who is with me?
Additional Voices : I'm with you!
[the blue macaw felts down]
Blu : Anybody else?

Carla : [seeing her mother give a tearful laugh] Mom? Are you okay?
Eduardo : [startled and drops Blu] "Mom"?
[turns to face his grandchildren]
Eduardo : I'm a grandpa?
[taking it in]
Eduardo : I'm a grandpa...
[overjoyed]
Eduardo : Look at me, I'm a grandpa!
Jewel : [as her father laughs] Daddy, this is Carla, Bia and Tiago!
Bia : Nice to meet you, sir!
Eduardo : There's no "sir" around here, young lady! You can call me "pop-pop"!
Carla : "Pop-pop"? Ooh, I like that, has a nice ring to it.

Eduardo : You did what?
Blu : It was an accident.
Eduardo : An accident?
Jewel : [Jewel arrives on the scene] Hey, what's going on?
Eduardo : Thanks to Drew, here, we could lose our entire side of the groove.
Blu : I was just trying to get a nut. One nut!
Jewel : You don't like even nuts! What's gotten into you, Blu?
Blu : I was getting for you.
Jewel : You were?
Eduardo : Roberto, I want your best birds on this. We are not giving up without a fight.
Roberto : Got it.
Eduardo : You. Stay out of it. You've done enough.
Blu : Wait!
Jewel : Blu, he's right. Maybe you should just let Dad and Roberto handle it.
Blu : You don't think I can do this?
Jewel : No, I just don't know if it's your exact area of expertise.
[Blu looks angrily at Jewel and she has a fake smile formed by her beak]

Blu : [Blu and Eduardo are flying over the Amazon river] Hey. You are fast. You are really, really fast. I think I pulled a wing or something. You really fast for an old bird.
[Eduardo looks askance to Blu]
Blu : For such a wise bird, is what I meant to say. Wise bird. Which sometimes come with age but also can happen when you're young, like in your case. You could be wise and young, which is kind of a rare combination but thrilling when it happens.
Eduardo : Be quiet.
Blu : Thank you, sir.
Eduardo : It's time to shake that city off you. You need to learn the basics of jungle survval.
Blu : I thought we were going sightseeing.
Eduardo : [laughing] It's training day. Come on!
[Blu lies in a puddle of mud]
Eduardo : The mud is your friend. This is your camouflaged! Feel it. Taste it!
[Blu begins to get muddy and Eduardo throws the mud at him]
Eduardo : If you don't feel it crusty, you're not doing it right!
[Blu begins to roll in sheets covered of mud]
Eduardo : You don't wanna be seen by humans!
[Blu begins to do abs covered of mud]
Eduardo : Come on! You're a macaw or a Turkey?
[Blu begins to fly until he is swallowed by a snake who spits him out after Eduardo places his claws. They tried to eat a Brazil nut but Blu fails when trying to eat it]
Eduardo : Faster. Faster.
[Blu begins to jumping preventing crocodiles from eating him]
Eduardo : Come on! You don't want to be eaten!
[Blu is tied and hanging upside down]
Eduardo : You're alone in the jungle. You get caught in a trap. What do you do?
Blu : If I had my fanny pack...
Eduardo : No! You use your beak.
Blu : My beak.
Eduardo : It's your most important tool.
Blu : Okay, Okay. No, I use my beak.
[Blu tries to cut the vines to free himself]
Blu : Almost
Eduardo : Time's up.
[Eduardo cuts the vines]
Eduardo : You're jaguar meat. Roberto got it on the first try.
Blu : Of course he did.
Eduardo : [Blu and Eduardo continue flying over the Amazon river] Up, up! And hover!
[Blu and Eduardo continue flying over the Amazon river and start hover]
Eduardo : Now, backwards!
Blu : What, backwards? No, only hummingbirds can fly backwards.
Eduardo : [Eduardo is flying backwards showing to Blu how to do it] Backwards
[Blu and Eduardo continue flying over the Amazon river with some pink dolphins for Blu to avoid]
Eduardo : Over! Under! Over! Under! Over! Good Job.
Blu : Thanks.
Eduardo : Not you.
[Eduardo bumps his wing into the dolphin's fin]
Blu : [Blu tries to do the same but the dolphin splashes him] Hi.

[Eduardo notices that Blu fell asleep]
Eduardo : Wake up!
Blu : I'm up. Nutty Brazil. Brazil nut trees, something. Yeah, got it.
Eduardo : This is important. We have to protect these trees. Our future depends on it.
Felipe : [Felipe comes flying with his flock] Yo, Eddie. Who is your sidekick? You got a nurse now?
Blu : Hi, I'm...
Eduardo : Aren't you boys getting a little bit too close to our side? We have a deal, Felipe.
Felipe : Hey relax. You know we got nothing but mad love for you.
[Felipe retreats flying with his flock]
Felipe : Come on, boys, let's fly. Paint the sky, before they start to cry.
Blu : They seem nice.
Eduardo : They have their side of the groove and we have ours. Food is scare these days.
[Eduardo notices a strange noise and Blu follow him. Hiding they see the loggers]
Eduardo : Never see them this close to the village before.
[Blu looks out to see]
Eduardo : What? Don't let them see you!
Blu : Right, right. Sorry. Maybe we should go find Linda.
Eduardo : What's a Linda?
Blu : Linda is the person that raised me.
Eduardo : What? You're a pet?
Blu : No, it wasn't like that. I was a companion.
Eduardo : You liked it? That explains everything
Blu : Linda is family.
Eduardo : Family? Humans aren't family
Blu : No you don't understand. They're coming to help.
Eduardo : Listen to me. We do not bring humans into the tribe. That's the only reason we're still alive. You cannot be confused about this. Understood?
Blu : Yeah. Got it.
Eduardo : Sightseeing is over.

Eduardo : Actually I do have a perfect spot for you.
Blu : [Blu starts to sell water] Water. Water here. Get your water.
[a macaw passes very fast]
Blu : Okay, thanks.

Aunt Mimi : Jewel?
[Mimi passes flying faster searching for Jewel]
Aunt Mimi : Make way. Make way! Jewel!
Jewel : Aunt Mimi? Aunt Mimi!
[Mimi hugs her niece]
Jewel : I missed so much!
Aunt Mimi : My little wildflower has returned! I knew you were coming back. I saw it in the droppings. And look at the little ones!
[Mimi runs to hugs Blu and Jewel's kids]
Aunt Mimi : Aren't you the fluffiest most delicious little macaws?
[They leave the area flying and hugs Blu]
Aunt Mimi : Your big for your age.
Eduardo : Mimi this is Sue.
Blu : Actually, I'm Blu.
Aunt Mimi : Aren't we all?
Blu : No, really, that's my name
Aunt Mimi : That's why they call us Blue Macaws
Jewel : [whispering] Just go with it

Pedro : So that's what a Blue Macaw is supposed to look like?
Roberto : [Roberto is singing with some female and male blue macaws at his side] Look at her shining. Her feathers, they glow. Now the jungle is smiling. 'Cause our baby's home. Can you feel what i feel?
[Jewel begins to approach where Roberto is]
Roberto : The day has come at last. Our precious Jewel has returned. I'll be the first to sing welcome back.
Jewel : Roberto I...
[Roberto interrupts her words]
Roberto : Welcome back. I said welcome, welcome, welcome...
[Roberto makes a dramatic pause to sing]
Roberto : Back
[Roberto stops to sing]
Roberto : Wow, you look great!
Jewel : So do you.
Blu : [Blu appears in scene] Hi, hey. Hi, there. I'm Jewel significant other.
Roberto : So. you're the lucky bird who swept Ju-Ju off her feet?
Blu : Ju-Ju?
Roberto : Yeah. When we were kids, we had the cutest nicknames for each other
Jewel : We did. I called him Beto.
Blu : That's adorable I love doing any nicknames.
[Blu approaches to Jewel and whispers]
Blu : You never mentioned any Roberto.
Jewel : There's nothing to mention.
Eduardo : [Eduardo appears in scene] Hey! There's my wingman! We can rest easy with Roberto on the lookout.
Roberto : Eduardo taught me everything I know. He's the bird
Eduardo : No. You're the bird.
Roberto : You're the bird!
Aunt Mimi : [Aunt Mimi appears in scene] We get it. You're the both the bird. Now, can we stopp yaking and start parting?
[Aunt Mimi with its beak it begins to touch a branch like a guitar string]
Jewel : Wow! I remember this song.
Roberto : How could you forget? It's in our blood, baby. It's who we are. You don't mind if I borrow her for a minute, do you?
Blu : Actually...
Roberto : Come on, Ju-Ju! Let's go!

Blu : Sure is nice to meet you, sir.
[Blu extends his wing out to Eduardo]
Eduardo : Tuck that wing away, Stu. Now, come here.
Blu : Right, sure, okay.
[Blu doesn't move]
Eduardo : Closer.
Blu : Oh! Really?
[Blu takes a step closer]
Eduardo : Closer.
Blu : Um...
[Blu takes another step closer]
Eduardo : You brought my Jewel back to me. I thank you. I'm going to hug you now.
Blu : Oh! Um... okay. I just...
[Eduardo tries to hug Blu]
Eduardo : Oh!
Blu : Ow.
Eduardo : Now, come here, you.
[they fumble to hug each other when suddenly Eduardo grabs Blu in a tight hug]
Blu : Ow... okay. There we are. My pleasure.
[Nico wipes tears away from his eyes and him and Pedro watch them]
Pedro : Nico, you crying?
Nico : It's a heavy moment, and I'm very vulnerable right now.
Pedro : Come here. Let me get you a hug.
[Pedro embraces Nico and they both start sobbing]

Eduardo : [Blu starts brushing his beak with his brush] Morning.
[Blu surprised with the toothpaste in his mouth, he looks surprised at Eduardo]
Eduardo : Or should I say afternoon?
Blu : [Blu swallows the toothpaste and cleans his beak] Morning, sir.
Eduardo : Our days here in the jungle, they start early.
Jewel : [Jewel arrives on the scene] Morning, daddy.
Eduardo : That's my girl. See? Already up and at'em.
[Jewel kiss Eduardo]
Jewel : Morning sweetie.
[Jewel removes a leaf from Blu's forehead]
Blu : Why did you let me sleep in?
Jewel : What are you talking about? You sleep in every day.
Blu : Yeah, but..
Bia : Hey, Dad. Aunt Mimi says clay is good for digestion.
[she has a piece of clay in her paw for her father to try it]
Bia : Try some.
Blu : No sweetie. I just brushed my...
[Bia puts the piece of clay in Blu's peak]
Bia : It's good, right? I'm gonna get some more.
[Bia retires flying]
Eduardo : Smart girl.
[Blu spits out the piece of clay]
Eduardo : So, I though I'd take Louie, here, for a little tour of the area. Show him around.
Jewel : That's a great idea.
Blu : What?
Jewel : You go have fun with Daddy and I'll explore around here with the kids.
Blu : Yeah, okay, Sure.
Jewel : You'll love it.
Blu : Yeah, great. I just gotta...
[Blu enters to the nest to puts his fanny pack]
Blu : Okay, ready.
Eduardo : Okay. Lou, come closer
[Blu takes a step closer to hug Eduardo]
Eduardo : Not so close.
Blu : Okay.
Eduardo : Listen... I can barely look at it. You gotta lose that human pocket, okay?
Blu : This is a fanny pack.
Eduardo : Fanny pack. Adorable. It's human. And now that you're joining the tribe, you won't be needing it anymore. I'll meet you by the clay banks.
[Eduardo retires flying]
Blu : Joining the tribe? He doesn't actually think we're moving to the jungle, does he?
Jewel : No, he's just excited we're all here. Let's not ruin the moment, okay?
[Jewel touches Blu's chest with her feathers]
Jewel : Besides, it won't kill you to leave behind the fanny pack.
Blu : All right, you win. I will leave the fanny pack behind.
[Blu enters to the nest to takes off his fanny pack]
Blu : Happy wife, happy li...
Jewel : [Blu see Jewel with them kids going flying to explore] Bye, Honey. Have fun.
Blu : Yeah. Sure, bye.

Rafael : Blu, Blu, Blu! Calm down.
Blu : Calm down? We had a plan. Help Linda and Tulio find the flock and get home. But when I mentioned it to her she completely shut me down.
[Rafael, Nico and Pedro look at Blu confused]
Blu : And her father? A total nut job. He's got this weird thing about humans.
Eduardo : [Now from Eduardo's perspective] He's got this weird thing about humans! He loves them. He's a pet!
Roberto : [Roberto spits out the Brazil nut] A pet?
Blu : [Returning Blu's perspective] He called me a pet. I can't believe he used the P word to my face. It's like he thinks I'm the enemy or something.
Eduardo : [Returning Eduardo's perspective] He's not one of us, Roberto. Keep an eye on him.
Blu : [Returning Blu's perspective] And that Roberto? He is always watching. He is always hovering around Jewel. He is always singing something. I can't compete with that.
Pedro : You gotta bird up, bird! You gotta emancipate yourself from domestication.
Nico : Try to see this place trough her eyes. Taste the flavors she's tasting.
Blu : So I should eat a bug?
Pedro : That's just nasty, thinking about it.
Nigel : [Nigel dressed as Bob appears] Glitter. Where is my glitter?
Blu : [Nigel doesn't realize Blu is in front of him] I'm sorry. Sorry.
Nigel : I don't want apologies. I want glitter
[Nigel, Charlie and Gabi retires of the zone]
Nigel : Gllitter it's absolutely essential for a magical presentation.
Gabi : [Gabi realize Blu is in front of Nigel and tries to advice] Uh, Nigel.
Carla : [Carla appears] Guys! Rehearsals, big day tomorrow. Ring a bell? Come on. You're coming, right, Dad?
Blu : Oh, yeah, of course.
Pedro : That girl put the business in show business.
