The Silence (2019)
Despite of some unexplained theory and unexplained ending the film impresses!!
The Silence is a horror film directed by John R. Leonetti. The film stars Stanley Tucci, Kiernan Shipka, Miranda Otto, John Corbett, Kate Trotter and Kyle Harrison Breitkopf.
When the world is under attack by a swarm of creatures called vesps who only gets attracted towards sound, Ally, a teenager who is impaired, and her family take refuge in a house in a remote place and fights for their survival.
The film is a unique film (I haven't seen A quiet place yet) and a great execution and somewhat an abrupt ending. The film displays the emotions of love, care, fear, sacrifices and survival tactics in a very 'silent' but effective way.
The plot of the film is good and the execution is superb. The film will keep you hooked throughout in anticipation of what will happen next. The film is beautifully supported by great acting and superb BGM.
Stanley Tucci is always a treat to watch on the screen and the way he uses his expression (as the film has very less or very silent dialogues) displays his master class. Kiernan Shipka and Miranda Otto were equally impressive.
The film leaves some unexplained theories as why the human surrenders in front of the vesps and why the police or military didn't use the woodchipper (Used by Tucci while entering the house) or similar weapon which makes noise.
The screenplay of the film is gripping and climax of the film disappoints little but still the film is a good and gripping film and can be watched once.
Mio fratello mia sorella (2021)
A very beautiful and heart warming film!!
My Brother, My Sister (Italian: Mio fratello, mia sorella) is a drama film directed by Roberto Capucci and starring Alessandro Preziosi, Claudia Pandolfi, Ludovica Martino and Francesco Cavallo.
An estranged brother and sister are forced to live together because of their deceased father's will although the sister hates her brother but they tries to overcome their differences to become a family.
The film has a unique concept and a great exection which displays different emotions in a very unique way.
The plot of the film is good and execution is superb. The film will keep you glued through out and is beautifully backed by some funny, emotional and heart warming feelings. The film thoroughly displays the feeling of an angry sister who hates her brother because he left them without any trace and she thoughts that he has came back for the will or the money of his deceased father. As the time passes her anger starts melting seeing his love and care for her kids and she realizes her mistake when gets to know the reason of his abruptly leaving them.
Acting in the film was superb and all of the actors were superb in their respective roles. BGM of the film is good and the climax of the film is unusual and unique (I am not sharing the details to avoid spoilers).
A must watch feel good and heart warming film.
Xin jing wu men (1976)
Disappoints after raising expectations!!
New Fist of Fury is a martial arts film directed by Late Lo Wei. The film stars Jackie Chan, Nora Miao and Chan Sing.
Lung, a thief, is unwillingly hired by Lier, fiance of Chen Cen, to help her save her martial arts school from the Japanese. However, Lung must first master the martial arts to prove his worth.
The film can be termed as a film with decent plot and an abrupt ending. The film which is the second part of Late Bruce Lee's Fist of Fury the film serves a huge disappointment specially for those for were looking for some martial arts action film.
The acting in the film is decent although Jackie Chan who tries to look funnier and acted as a punching bag in the first half of the film disappoints. Nora Miao carries the same face throughout the film. Chan Sing as the main villain was impressive.
Screenplay of the film is topsy turvy as the film gives lots of false hope of some serious or great fight which you didn't see until the climax which surely has some violent action scenes but with a atypical ending.
Overall a film which raise your expectations sky high and ends in an disappointment.
Saathi (1968)
One of the most underrated or unheard classic!!
Saathi is a romantic film directed by Late C. V. Sridhar. The film stars Late Rajendra Kumar, Vyjayanthimala, Late Sanjeev Kumar, Simi Garewal, Late Pahari Sanyal, Late David Abraham Cheulkar and Late Veena.
Ravi falls in love and marries Shanti, leaving Rajni heartbroken who was secretly in love with him. Unfortunately, Shanti develops a dreaded disease and runs away as she does not want to be a burden on Ravi and on the other hand Ravi looses his eyes in a tragic accident.
This film was probably released at the time when the career graph of Rajendra Kumar was on decline as this film is somewhat lesser heard film despite of having some stellar star cast with some amazing songs and terrific acting.
The plot of the film is slightly based on the concept of love triangle and has decent execution. The film indeed gets slow in between but still doesn't makes you loose interest in the film. The film has some romance, some emotions, some jealousy and is very heart warming ending.
The acting in the film is main point of the film and everyone was superb in their respective roles and a very special mention for Sanjeev Kumar who was very impactful in his limited screen space and not to mention Simi.
Music and songs of the film was soulful and songs like Mera Pyar bhi tu and Yeh kaun aaya are still very popular.
One of the lesser heard or probably ignored classic with some terrific acting and great music. Must watch.

If you like the work of Sergio Leone then you'll definitely fall in love with this film and this film can be termed as one of the most underrated spaghetti western film. The film has some fantastic actors doing their roles perfectly, great screenplay and superb back ground music.
The role of Franco Nero is amazing is he is superbly supported by Loredana, Bódalo, Fajardo and Alvarez.
The screenplay of the film is superb and the film will keep you glued throughout. The film might look like a fist full of dollar with still the film has it's own unique charm. The background music of the film supports the screenplay perfectly.
A perfect spaghetti western film.

3:10 to Yuma, a great film!!

The film is Based on a 1953 short story by Late Elmore Leonard.
In order to safeguard his ranch, Dan Evans decides to escort an outlaw, Ben Wade, to Contention City for a paltry sum of two hundred dollars.
I have seen the 2007 version of this film and liked that film and decided to watch 1957 version also and liked this film also very much. The film is gripping, thrilling and suspenseful.
The acting in the film is good and both the actors were amazing in their respective roles and compliments each of them nicely. The screenplay of the film is superbly gripping and climax is superb. The film has some good music and nice cinematography. Those who has seen 2007 version must watch the original one also.
Hubie Halloween (2020)
You get what you expects from an Adam Sandler film!!
Hubie Halloween is a mystery/horror-comedy film directed by Steve Brill. The film stars Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Julie Bowen, Late Ray Liotta, Rob Schneider, June Squibb, Kenan Thompson, Shaquille O'Neal, Steve Buscemi, and Maya Rudolph.
Despite his devotion to his hometown of Salem (and its Halloween celebration), Hubie Dubois is a figure of mockery for kids and adults alike. But this year, something is going bump in the night, and it's up to Hubie to save Halloween.
The film is not as bad as some of the reviews suggest and i think that the critics came very harsh on this film but still there are some scenes and aspects in the film which might irritate the viewers.
The plot of the film is decent and execution is decent, Sandler does a good job in the role of a kind hearted man but in some of scenes he looks stupid and irritating specially the way he speaks. The screenplay of the film is decent but the ending could've been little more elaborate and better although the twist in the end works in the favor of the film.
Can be watched once and viewers mat not be disappointed.
Saw II (2005)
A violent and impressive squeal!!
Saw II is a horror film directed by Darren Lynn Bousman. The film stars Donnie Wahlberg, Franky G, Glenn Plummer, Beverley Mitchell, Dina Meyer, Emmanuelle Vaugier, Erik Knudsen, Shawnee Smith, and Tobin Bell.

It is the sequel to 2004's Saw and the second installment in the Saw film series.
SAW II is a good squeal and has a much better ending then the first part. The film has some inventive and impressive booby traps and is more violent and gory then the first part. The film might not be as scary as the first part and the first half of the film might not be very much gripping but still the film deserved to be called as a worthy squeal.
The acting in the film is good and allmost all the characters were impressive in their character. Screenplay of the film is good although the intensity is missing. The Climax of the film is superb.
A great and entertaining sequal.
The Quick and the Dead (1995)
Sam Raimi impresses in his Western film debut.
The Quick and the Dead is a Western film directed by Sam Raimi. The film stars Sharon Stone, Gene Hackman, Russell Crowe, and Leonardo DiCaprio.
Ellen, a mysterious gunslinger, arrives in Redemption to seek revenge on Herod, the ruthless leader of the place. However, she must first defeat highly skilled gunslingers in an elimination contest.
The film might have some flaws, some disappointments and may look unrealistic on many fronts but still the film is an entertaining film on many levels and comes out as a fun revenge drama.
The plot of the film is a predictable revenge drama but the execution is good, the first half or lets say the first thirty minutes is slow but the second half is superb and more engaging.
The acting in the film is superb and Gene Hackman plays the role of a ruthless outlaw with great perfection he was the most shining part in the acting department. Russell Crowe and Leonardo Dicaprio were also very impressive. The support cast includes Lance Henriksen, Keith David, Gary Sinise and Mark Boone Jr. Are all very talented and very impressive. I have read many positive words about Sharon Stone but i wasn't that much impressed with her character as she was trying hard to play Clint Eastwood kind of role and she fails miserably. It could've been better if she would have stuck to her natural acting abilities as she is surely a great actor.
The screenplay of the film is good with a slow first part and fast paced and engaging second part. The climax of the film is superb but could've been little more elaborate and there could've been little better ending.
Overall a great western film and a superb efforts by Sam Raimi a must watch if you are a fan of Raimi or western cinema.

A doctor treats his patients using humour. While the medical community does not appreciate his methods, the patients, medical professors and nurses appreciate his work.
A very toughing and heart warming film which not only deeply touches you but touches in a most funny and unique way, although in my personal opinion i believe that the makers has wasted little more time on the love story which could've been utilized in showing the compassion of the character played by Robin Williams but nevertheless the film didn't disappoints.
The acting in the film is superb and it seems that the role was tailormade for Robin Williams. He was a brilliant actor and has shows us the glimpse of his brilliance in this film. Bob Gunton was also very impressive, Monica Potter was decent and Philip Seymour Hoffman was somewhat under utilized. Rest of the characters were also very impressive.
Screenplay of the film was superb and will keep you engaged, the funny and humorous scenes in between will keep constant smile on your face. Climax of the film was good although could've been little more elaborate.
This film is undoubtedly one of the good feel good, heart warming film with a unique concept and good execution. Must watch.

The film is Based on Stephen King's 1982 novella The Body.
This film is great in many aspects be it acting, storytelling, screenplay, soundtrack or cinematography. The way they had described about each and every character is superb and you'll feel emotionally attached to each and every character. The camaraderie between them is also something to watch for in this film.
Acting is the strongest pillar of this film with all the characters were very much impressive in their respective characters. The screenplay of the film is superb and will keep you engaged throughout the film. The fun and humor in between works as icing on the cake. The climax of the film is little sad though but gives the film a perfect ending.
A must watch film for everyone who haven't watched this film.
Halloween II (1981)
A decent one time watch squeal!!
Halloween II is a slasher film directed by Rick Rosenthal. The film stars Jamie Lee Curtis and Late Donald Pleasence.
The film is a squeal to Halloween and second film in Halloween series.
Myers, a horrific murderer, spends 15 years in an insane asylum after terrorising the people in his small hometown on the eve of a halloween. As soon as he gets out, he hunts down his sister.
The film starts from where the first film ends and takes us on what gonna happen next ride with certainly more violence then the first part but less scare or horror. The film can easily be categorized us an underrates horror flick although it doesn't do justice to it's first part.
The screenplay of the film is slow and can irritate some of the viewers. The acting in the film is decent. Cinematography in the film is good and the climax is also good.
The film is a decent one time watch squeal which could've been better with it's crisp and little more fast screenplay.

Thomas Kaiser's unexpected inheritance of an old mansion brings with it a curse. When he confronts the house's dreaded past, he sets out to awaken a mystical woman and stop the evil forces.
The film is a disappointment on many front, first of all it looks like a half cooked story with no ending (probably they might've planned some sequal). The film is called horror film but horror part is seriously missing from the film even jump scares doesn't scares. It looks like that the makers were looking forward to make some B Grade film with limited budget.
Acting in the film is decent to average. Screenplay of the film is slow and boring, cinematography is disappointing.
I can't find any good reason to recommend this film to anyone to watch.

Going by the rating i wasn't expecting much from the film but the film turns out to be an all out action thriller and an impressive film and i think that this film is somewhat misunderstood or underrated.
The plot of the film is good and execution is superb. Stallone does what he is best in and he does it with perfection. Sharon Stone looked very pretty and was very impressive. James Wood the pick of them all was spot on with hi character.
Screenplay of the film is fast paced and will keep you glued, for typical action lovers fan this film is nothing less than a treat. Climax of the film is equally impressive.
One of the great action film to watch which is surely underrated.

The best part of the film is the introduction of the characters of the film and with perfect pace and regular flashbacks the film gives ample time for every viewers to indulge in the life of every characters specially Otto. In the start of the film some of the viewers may hate Hanks but will gets emotionally attached with his character as the film progresses.

Whatever Film critics say bad about this film i really liked this film. The film has some great acting, some really funny scenes, making most out of a predictable plot, superb use of VFX and a perfect amount of amount of seriousness and humor.
The plot of the film is decent yet predictable but the execution is superb. The film keeps you engaged throughout and from no where the film or any of it's scene looks lethargic or forced upon.
The screenplay of the film is gripping and has a regular dose of fun in between. The film has all the necessary elements to keep you glued throughout.
Acting is superb, Ryan Reynolds is great in his character, Mark Ruffalo is my favorite. Jennifer Garner, Zoe and Catherine Keener were all impressive in their respective roles. Walker Scobell is a surprise factor and really impresses in his debut.
The climax of the film is predictable but good and i would like to strongly recommend this film. A must watch.

Bill helps his visually impaired brother, Robbie, with sports and always stands by him. When Bill's crush, Rose, starts dating Robbie, he is forced to make a tough choice.
The best part about this film is it's length so that you can get through this film quickly otherwise there is nothing exciting or entertaining in the film. The film has a vert predictable plot, equally predictable screenplay and predictable climax and ending.
The acting in the film is good and probably only the slightest reason to watch this film. Nick Kroll was the best of them all followed by Adam Scott and Jenny Slate.
The screenplay of the film is slow and gets boring not to forget the predictable nature. Nothing exciting in watching this film.

Still better then 1961 film!!

The film is the second feature-length adaptation of the 1957 stage musical of the same name.
A young man affiliated with a Caucasian gang falls in love with the sister of a Puerto Rican gangster. As a result, they face many challenges in their quest to unite.
I have seen the 1961 original musical and didn't liked that film much but this film is slightly better then the original although this film also has the same common problem as the original one, the film gets boring, is very slow and lethargic although the screenplay and cinematography is still better then the 1961 film.
The acting in the film is good and apart from Rachel Zegler who looked little immature or lost for this character everyone was spot on. The screenplay of the film is good and the songs are also good.
Cinematography of the film is good. For me little better then the 1961 film.

Lovers Maria and Tony find themselves entangled in the bitter battle between their gangster families. Knowing this feud will lead to disastrous consequences, Maria sends Tony to end the fight.
I have seen many critics and film buff calling West Side Story a masterpiece and one of the greatest film ever made but there are few of the viewers who didn't liked this masterpiece and i am one of them.
The makers decides to turn Romeo and Juliet into a musical which has couple of gangs going after each other in what can be called as the war of the turf or existence. The film might have been liked and it was indeed liked by the mass of the audience back then but for me it was a boring, lethargic and the film gets too long for the kind of plot the film was made on.
The music of the film is good and probably the strongest aspect of the film and was the backbone of the film. Acting was good and allmost all of the character were impressive in their respective characters.
Screenplay of the film is slow and the viewers might get boring. Cinematography of the film is good though.
To sum up with i have to admit that this film will surely be a masterpiece for many but not for me.

Wow what a funny, bone tickling feel good funny film. The premise of the film might not be that fresh but the execution is surely top notch. The film will not only keep you engaged but also will keep a smile on your face with the dose of laughter in between. The film can surely be called as pure unadulterated fun.
The acting in the film is superb and for me it was Jack Lemmon who was probably the best of them all. Tony Curtis was also spot on with his acting. Marilyn Monroe looked pretty and cute in the role of an innocent ukulele player and singer. Joe E. Brown performance works as an icing on the cake. Rest of the cast was also good.
Screenplay of the film is gripping and funny and hilarious and climax was superb. Can surely be watched many times
One of the best feel good comedy film.

I Would like to keep the review short and have to admit that this film is one of the best comedies I've seen recently. This film cemented my belief in the talent of George Clooney as he was superb in his character. John Turturro was indeed a surprise package specially for me. Tim Blake Nelson, John Goodman and Late Charles Durning were equally impressive in their respective characters. Chris Thomas King and Holly Hunter were also good.
Screenplay of the film is superb and will keep you engaged. The film really shows how to a satirical comedy is made.

Scream VI (2023)
Dear Makers, please use a stop button!!
Scream VI is a slasher film directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett. The film has an ensemble cast.
The film is the sixth installment in the Scream film series.
Four survivors of the Ghostface murders leave Woodsboro behind for a fresh start in New York City. However, they soon find themselves in a fight for their lives when a new killer embarks on a bloody rampage.
Someone has to be courageous to stand up and tell the makers in their face that they gonna have to use the pause button and stop making crap in the name of a franchise. The film was boring and disappointing with nothing new or exciting. It seems that some of the characters Like, Gale, Chad, Kirby and Mindy has been blessed to be immortal as despite of multiple attacks on them they always survives. The killing of Anika also doesn't make any sense.
The plot of the film was bad and execution was terrible. The film starts nicely but soon looses the steam as the film progresses. Screenplay of the film is average and the viewers might feel bore after sometime. The climax and the big reveal never excites.
Acting was the other major problem with the film as most of the actors were just trying too hard to look frightened or scared, there are lots of foolish scenes which am avoiding sharing as i didn't wish to give more spoilers.
BGM was good but gets too loud at places. Cinematography was good.
Overall a disappointment for the Fan of Scream Series.
