Fleishman Is in Trouble (2022)
Turned it off after episode 1
The narration is so annoying and the characters are mostly unlikeable. I was hoping to like this, but I won't continue watching after episode 1. Jesse is completely miscast and I really found myself not caring what happens next. I honestly think that if they did away with the narration, I would be more interested in watching it. It totally takes you out of the storyline and it really doesn't add anything to it whatsoever. I also did not need to watch more than a dozen naked women have sex with Jesse Eisenberg. Yuck. The whole episode just turned me off completely and honestly grossed me out. I truly was hoping for a better experience.
Passing (2021)
Authentic film lovers will love this.
People who don't know good films won't like this at all. Skip their review. If you've ever taken a film course or studied film, you will love this movie. It is not boring. It is not slow. It is not a waste of your time. And it shouldn't have been done in color. It was done beautifully. And anyone who says otherwise has no idea what they're talking about. It will get a best picture nomination and has a VERY good chance of winning.
Cry Macho (2021)
Really bad acting
I couldn't get past the first 20 minutes because the acting is that bad. End of story.
A Christmas Carol (2009)
Not for young viewers at all.
If your kid is under the 7-8ish age range, this movie is NOT for them. It's extremely dark. Even my 10 year old had a hard time watching it. And I really don't understand why they didn't just use human actors instead of animation. Definitely not my favorite version of this story in any way. The only good part about it was the end.
Magic Camp (2020)
Adam Devine just like Jack Black
This movie is just like School of Rock but with magic. And the main character steals all of Jack Black's charm and charisma in the process. Fine for anyone 9 and under but this was painful to watch...
