About Isabel’s B2B work

“I’m a passionate writer. My career began on the public relations side, where I worked for global PR agencies and supported clients, including AT&T, JP Morgan Chase, Heineken, Dove (Unilever), JetBlue, and L’Oreal Paris, among others. From there, I worked at IBM managing communications about new jobs in tech, a project that was spearheaded by the CEO at the time.

And, while I wrote material as a PR executive among other responsibilities, my passion for writing kept calling me. I could no longer ignore the nudge. In 2020, amidst the change that the outside world brought to all of us, I decided to make a big career shift, and I started freelancing and transitioning 100% to writing.

My goal was to publish a novel and sustain myself as an independent writer. Fast forward to today, and I can happily say that I do what I love — I write for a living. My first novella is called Taming Jackal (get your copy on Amazon or Barnes & Noble!), and I write B2B content for a variety of companies in industries ranging from telecom to fintech to civil engineering.

As a Latina business owner, I’m proud to share that my LLC is certified by New York as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and a Women Business Enterprise (WBE).

What do I love about my B2B content work? I value collaborating with my client teams, gathering material, understanding the larger strategy, coming up with ways to improve the written SEO content… and then, I relish going back to a blank page, with a pen and paper, and coming up with new content.

My personal work appears in Fast Company, TIME, Fortune, The Associated Press, and Investopedia, among other publications. See my portfolio here.

For my clients, I draft articles, blogs, LinkedIn posts, whitepapers, technical RFPs, grant proposals, etc.

Let’s team up.”
