Sunday Night Tropical Satellite Update (KSAT 12)

SAN ANTONIO – We’re keeping a close eye on Tropical Storm Cristobal. Here are the key points:

  • Cristobal made landfall as a tropical storm on Sunday shortly after 5 p.m. CT (Track it here.)
  • Maximum sustained winds at landfall were around 50 mph, with wind gusts up to 65 mph
  • Very heavy rain and dangerous storm surge will be possible along the Gulf Coast from Louisiana all the way to the Florida
  • Cristobal’s track will actually make for a dry and hot start to next week in San Antonio
