But in a long run this is something that will not only damage your well-being but will make it hard to fully rest even when you're burnt out since you'd have developed unhealthy intrusive habits that would make you feel guilty for resting even when you're unwell. On top of this, if you hold a management / leadership role, it will create an unhealthy culture in your team prompting your colleagues to also engage in these practices and jeopardise their health or feel frustrated / guilty about this company culture and the feeling that it's expected of them.
