Responsible stewardship of the resources you are given is the only way to build trust with your funders. Add a business person to your BOD or find a solid bookkeeper.

Engage your vendors or other partners to sponsor your efforts to provide for your team. I asked every vendor we used to give us gift cards or donations. We used this as recognition items for staff. Also you can find grants that are specifically designed toward professional development, DEI and skill building. Don't let the lack of funds keep you from recognizing your amazing staff.
