We live in an exciting time where quantum and even quantum-inspired algos are ready to take on RSA, DSA and ECC. So, yes, upskill and update regularly. I personally recommend following the NIST recommendations where lattice-based encryption has been proposed. I incidentally worked on that field before joining Ericsson. User education is a pivotal aspect of mobile security. By having awareness and training sessions for employees and individuals, various potential threats and attacks can be recognized and averted, such as social engineering attacks, phishing attacks, and malware attacks. I believe that relying only on technical solutions doesn't provide the goals of cybersecurity. Organizations and institutions should spend more time and effort on the human side, in addition to the technical side.
