Schools would must probably provide such opportunities, so do grab that. For private tutors, Be on the lookout for such events through online forums/groups. Before attending any events, 1. Be clear of your objective: It can be Networking + to keep in trend of areas related to your teaching, or even, for self improvement (public speaking) 2. Be prepared: If you are someone that doesn't network, be mentally prepared or even set target (To speak to at least 5 people today, to get 3 person's linkedin etc etc). Be prepared to share about yourself too to make the session meaningful.
