Whenever you find security issues on some target and have to communicate it back to the developers. Do it very carefully, developers will become defensive if you don't communicate the issues in a polite manner. Their app is their kid, telling them that their app has flaws is equivalent to telling a parent that their kid is spoiled or is not good enough.

Not helping people understand "Why" you're doing a certain thing.
