From my career coaching practice, I see that the pursuit of work-life balance during career change may add an additional layer of stress and self-pressure. When we set it as a goal, we are likely to experience frustration on many levels and constantly feel guilty and stressed. We feel guilty when we put our job search ahead of our families, and we feel stressed if we spend time with family and friends instead of applying for jobs. Let's experiment with different ways of thinking about how career change fits into our lives. Can we harmonize and blend the career change process with our personal life in a way that promotes our overall well-being and satisfaction?

As an introvert, I set maximum limits for myself. What is my maximum face-to-face time every day? Every week? I love spending time with people, but as an introvert, I recharge when I'm alone. So I've figured out through trial and error what is my maximum face time? What does it take to drain my battery? Then, I can work backwards from there and maintain my schedule so I can recharge my battery and spend the quality of time with people that I enjoy.

Effective Time Management: Use techniques like the Eisenhower Matrix or Pomodoro Technique to manage your time efficiently. Delegate and Outsource: Delegate tasks whenever possible to free up time for career exploration. Networking: Build relationships with professionals in your desired field to gain insights and opportunities. Continuous Learning: Invest in your professional development to acquire new skills and knowledge. Self-Care: Prioritize your physical and mental well-being to avoid burnout.
