In my experience reskilling has to be planned in advance based on the quarterly performance reviews, having face to face connect, creating healthy & supportive environments, where the Team will find themselves to be cared and having a feel that the organisation is caring for them and wanted to groom by understanding each individual’s strengths and weaknesses and preparing a plan/program for 6 months down the line. This will create a motivating environment for the Team. Early engagement will create a sense of trust among them.

Once early engagement is done in next meetings have to set the goals for each individuals. Prepare Goals under SMART methodology. Goals has to be made as short term and long term while identifying the low hanging to pick up the first as to build the trust and confidence with the mentor , who is leading them towards achieving their individual goals.
