Regular content audits. This is an incredibly boring piece of advice, and I can already hear the groans. That's the big problem with content audits - everyone knows they need to do them regularly, but no one wants to and they CERTAINLY don't want to spend the time and energy (not to mention money) that it will take to do it well. I feel that pain, but I can also say with certainty that regular content audits are The Way. They help clear out your database, find the high-performing content that could use a refresh, topics that your org isn't covering, etc. Embrace the misery and get the job done.
